Will "Chocolatito" win back the world title?

Post by chuck9788 »

Can Roman Gonzales (46-2, 38 KO's) return to his old form and recapture glory? Or did Sor Rungvisai break him?

What kind of performance are you expecting vs Moises Fuentes (25-5-1, 14 KO's) tonight?

Extra : Speaking of Sor Rungvisai, he will be defending his WBC belt in Thailand vs Iran Diaz (14-2-3, 6 KO's) on October 6th.

Should be a dominant KO win.

Fuentes is small. Was he a straweight?

Sor Rungvisai is too big for him. He’d need to fight someone his size at super flyweight I think..?

He should move back down. Yafai won't beat him, and as it stands, imo, I think Ancajas/Chocolatito is 50-50. Sor Rungvisai is too big, too strong for Chocolatito.

He can be champ again if he can avoid Sor Rungvisay. That boy has his number

I don't think tonight is a title bout so he'll win tonight. He might be able to win if the matchup is right. I'd be intrigued to see him against Donnie Nietes personally.

He's getting old for a little guy.

As Chocolatito has climbed in weight, his performances have slipped, culminating in that disaster versus Sor Rungvasai.

I think Gonzalez' time has passed. If he looks less than impressive tonight, retirement would be smart.

I thought he looked like a guy who can still do pretty well at 112. 115 is just too big for him.

Any comments after Chocolatito's performance last night?
