Alvarez showed his mettle against a better version of Golovkin than he fought the first time. Just came up a little short for me but I'm now a bigger fan of his than I was before. TV people have it wider for GGG. Just hoping for fair scorecards - both guys earned their money and respect (and how) either way.

Feels similar to the 1st fight in terms of closeness, but it was a much more action packed fight this time. Kudos to Canelo for standing his ground, and making it more of an action fight this time. Wasn't a KO, but not for lack of effort. They went to war in there!

I thought Golovkin swept the 2nd half other than the 7th round.
