It would have to be in effing Kazakhstan though  it's the only way GGG is going to get a fair shake. :shame:
A fairer location and more realistic location would be New York
I was thinking NYC

It disgusts me that they charge PPV and then don’t show you the whole thing, interrupting it with ads is shoddy from SKy.

I understand why it was held in Vegas, but not why Golovkin agreed to it. This should've been in MSG.

It's the worst not-robbery robbery I've seen. Close fight, but clear as day decision.

Kind of agree. The draw in their last fight was an ever bigger robbery for GGG than the Canelo win in this fight.

I had Canelo by MD and SD so won some dough anyway!

Very enjoyable fight.

If the third happens maybe GGG should get roided to the max too?

When I say clear as day, I mean that in reference to the predictable scoring. I could accept a Canelo win on neutral ground with neutral judges, but Kellerman all but had a brown envelope sticking out of his blazer.

I felt Golovkin shaded it, just because he hurt Canelo a couple of times and I struggled to separate them otherwise. But something's wrong when we all know the winner before he's announced, and there isn't a single person here who'd have bet against Canelo after hearing 114-114. It's ruined the fight for me.

I backed the draw @20/1 because of the scoring. I thought GGG would win the fight clear and they'll score it a draw. It nearly worked. If one of the judges gave GGG the last round it would have been a draw.

When I heard 114-114 I thought I was gonna land it! As I knew from that score card GGG couldn't win it.

I think the rnds GGG won were very clear , the rnds you had to give Canelo he shaded by , landing heavy shots , but having more shots slipped and blocked than he landed , but still shading the rnds , BUT there were 2-3 rnds i could'nt pick apart ,

What i would be concerned about is a 2 inch cut , you can drive a bus through that DOES'NT BLEED , what the fornicate was on that swap ... Don't know if anyone else noticed , But when your using adrenelin , and push a damp , wet swab onto a cut , you would generally place the towel under , to stop any residul running into the eye , and blinding your fighter ,, They were pushing the swab into the cut and not bothering , WHAT WAS ON THEM SWABS .

Going by your username, you tell us!

I did notice a ton of salve that seemed really effective towards the end. Golovkin pawed at it a few times with lead rights, but no joy.

It must be disheartening for Canelo to land some of the shots he does and he doesn’t really put a dent in GGG, I thought he hurt him to the body early on but that’s all. He takes it to the chin as good as anyone I’ve ever seen, he doesn’t even react. Canelo's chin is great too but you’d back him to be stopped first if either were.

Robbery!!!

GGG every round from the 3rd onward. Sure Canelo had a very good start, and he had GGG backing up and out of character for a lot of the fight, but that is not enough to win the rounds. From round 3 GGG slowly took over, as the fight progressed the rounds were getting clearer and clearer for him. There is no way Canelo won that fight. Oskar is as bent as they come, it was an inside job.

Feel very sorry GGG, he needed this win on his record to cement his legacy, and i strongly fear corruption in the sport has robbed him of that. A lifetime of preparation, only to be done by a bunch of crooks at the final minute. Boxing really stinks sometimes.

Absolutely - like I said on my first post regarding this - it was a two inch cut on the eyelid and it just stopped bleeding when he went back to his corner - there's blood all over the place when I cut myself shaving. It was a big, deep cut too, not a nick.

You're probably old enough to remember but when Matthew Saad Muhammad beat John Conteh - he had similar cuts and they stopped bleeding with some magical mix, that was investigated and found to be an illegal mix used, nothing will happen with Canelo nor will there be an investigation.

It did bleed though. At least one round he went back to the corner with blood down the side of his face. Only one mind.

It wasn’t the round where the cut was open either before any smart arse chimes in.

One claimed on the current scene Canelo didn’t land any of the body shots HBO credited him with. :o

I was actually disappointed that he abandoned the body work for much of the middle rounds, he was having great success early on.

so many times ive seen guys abandon the body, even though the body shots especially are effective via accumulation, one thing i like about spence is he starts attacking that body and doesnt stop

The way he’s been treated, his fans deserve to be a bit nasty right now. As someone pointed out on another thread - only 1 of the 6 scorecards over the 2 fights was scored in favour of Golovkin. Absolutely blatant corruption.

There might have been a trickle - but it basically stopped bleeding for the rest of the fight. Dodgy. :TU:
