As for Canelo, I'd like to see him fighting Jacobs-Derevyanchenko winner.
Great fight! GGG is still a great fighter at almost 37 y/o! The fight was close but I give the edge to Canelo.

Both fighters showed elite skills and true hart! If they have a third one I'm ok with that but let's not forget that GGG will be even older and who knows what could happen. Atm I think both Canelo and GGG are the best in the mw division. Personally I'd like to see GGG fighting Murata in Japan and then retire.

I had it a draw but will have to watch it again to see if I agree with myself. I had GGG clearly winning 4 rounds, Canelo clearly winning 3 and 5 rounds that could go either way.
I don't want to see a third fight because I'm a big GGG fan and believe he already clearly beat Canelo in the first fight and I don't see him doing any better in a third fight.
Wouldn't mind seeing GGG fight some of the other big names in the division or moving up to 168lb to try for a title there. That said, I imagine a third Canelo fight would be the most lucrative, so it may be what happens.

Canelo was a little bit fresher and dictated the pace involving some body work , so I'm ok with the MD. But let's be realistic, for a 36+ y/o fighter GGG proved he's still elite, so that's pretty impressive. Imagine a 30 y/o GGG against this version of Canelo!jezzamundo wrote: ↑16 Sep 2018, 04:41 I had it a draw but will have to watch it again to see if I agree with myself. As for other fights my thought is GGG and his team would look after BJS and if he beats him then chase a third fight with Canelo. Anyway I'd like to see GGG having a fight with Murata then retire.

I am afraid that Golovkin will be not anymore at his prime in his next fight. Hopefully i am wrong in this :(

I'm going to have to watch it again. I was rooting for Golovkjn and had alot of $$ on him too but imo Canelo won that fight. Golovkin just didn't pressure him like he did in fight 1. It was Canelo who held the centre of the ring for most the fight. He dared Golovkin to throw first and made him pay with faster reflexes agaisnt the 37 year old golovkin.

Close but clear type of fight. GGG did his best against a younger elite fighter.RKY wrote: ↑16 Sep 2018, 08:10 I'm going to have to watch it again.
