Is Hatton fighting for the belt or not?
Does anyone know whether Saturday's fight v Collazo will be for the WBA title or not?
I presumed he'd ditched the light-welter belt so it would make it easier in political terms to go for the welter one.
Nothing on the WBA website (not that that means anything) but in the promo reels on Sky Sports it's not been mentioned either.

On the replay this morning, when they were advertising the upcoming fight it wasn't listed as being for the world title and none of them mentioned it either. i'm glad the title is on the line. wouldn't a certain warren employee hate it if not only the title is on the line, but that ricky wins the belt?
urkal hasn't won an elim. he's won 2 EBU title fights and seems to be #1 contender for some reason
either way, Urkal isn't up to the task of beating hatton or Collazo.

Two pages of pics of Hatton doing the body bag.
Looked like he clipped Billy on one.

Ain't no fat lady warming up around here!
The Court have okayed the sanction but the WBA still have to satisy Urkal, which they haven't and probably won 't. Urkal has a purse offer contract and is standing by it with King. King will have to pay a big step aside fee which he won't.
Still not for the WBA title at time of writing. Hold your gloats, four days and counting.....

Hatton looks to be in absolutely tip top condition for this fight, despite all of the distractions. Hardly an ounce of spare flesh anywhere.
Those photo's are from the build-up to the Oliveira fight, check the dates.
These are from last weeks bodybelt session:

I'd say he's ready.

We'll hold our gloats when you start exercising some control over your gloats.
Lets be clear about this....you really dont want this fight to be for a title do you? You want everything to be a total cock-up and a disaster when it comes to Ricky Hatton.
You see thats where you differ from most genuine fight fans on this board.
