Defo not. First Turner pulled out of the event. Price was looking for a replacement. Then Price, after initially rejecting the offer to fight Kuzmin although it was good money.. Had now accepted.. Maybe offered more.

Price said on social media, “Big chance for me at short notice next week but make no mistake about it I’m coming to win. I fight for a living and this is a FIGHT. The fans are gonna enjoy this and so am I. Please, no negativity. Only positive. Or kindly F–K OFF. Thanks in advance.”

He calls it negativity, I call it realism. He needs saving from himself as he will pay a heavy price for these knockouts later in life

A lot of people go on there and give him shite. He doesn't want to hear it. Nor would I. He is a grown man, he can make his own decisions, all the big gobs can bugger off out of his social media.

Quite. It reminds me of Audley's Walkers crisps quote. I'd love Price to win. He seems a great bloke.

Make or break for Pricey but its a tricky fight as Sergey Kuzmin is no mug as a novice heavyweight. Its not as if he's been fighting the dregs of the division as we have seen with many boxers over the years to build up a winning streak by fighting nobodies. There does not seem to be names on his career resume but the fighters he has fought have at least had some success.

I'm saying make or break but if Price gets stopped but has some success in the fight he will most likely say he enjoyed the battle and will carry on. For me though this should be a decent fight and im guessing that David Price will get hit, just hope he can stand up and hit back. Hope Price wins as it may suggest that 12 wins over 4 years proves that the Russian is not a committed heavyweight.

David Price fights are like watching a car crash that is about to happen. Not knowing how bad it will be but knowing it's going to happen. The only chance for Price is a lucky shot in rounds 1-3 before he run out of gas.

I think Joshua will ko Povetkin and Kuzmin will become Russian #1 heavyweight.

If Price doesn't stop him early it'll follow the same pattern as his last fight. Is this 8 rounds or 10 ?

If Price is no longer afraid of getting knocked out then that’s potentially dangerous for him and his opponent!

He’s the perfect undercard heavyweight.

I hope he’s getting a good wedge.

Price needs to be told it's all over, one day one of these KO's is going to seriously damage him

Yeah he has to fight that way to have any kind of success. For a while there he was acting like he was scared no matter how mediocre the opponent was, but he fought bravely against Povetkin, and gave him a scare at one point.

Yep. I could easily see Price tragedicly becoming the victim of his own bravery.

I hope I'm wrong though, because Price seems such an honest and decent bloke who deserves a turn of fortune, particularly in light of his persistence. However, in the brutal world of heavyweight boxing he is certainly vulnerable and at risk of harm.

Price will be done in four, he might wobble Kuzmin which will lead to the usual nonsense about him ‘having a punchers chance of beating anyone’, he’ll KO one or two absolute nobodies and off we go again on repeat and rerun. His best win is Sam Sexton. Enough said

Seen Kuzmin trying to intimidate Price at the weigh in. Price is getting starched here surely. I'd give Dave Allen a good chance of beating Price and if he's on that kind of level then the question is, is Dave Allen better than Kuzmin? No is the short answer.

Kuzmin by KO in the first is worth a few quid

I actually feel physical pain when watching Joyce. He's that bad. Kuzmin realized it and treated him as such. Pleasing video.

It's the way Price falls down. Because he's so tall as well. It's like a tower falling down.
