The worst possible scenario at the top level HW.
Re: The worst possible scenario at the top level HW.
I suppose the worst thing would be if Fury, Wilder, and Joshua all pulled a Haye / Vitali / Bowe and did some combination of cancelling fights due to injury, taking X years off due to injury, and retiring early.
Re: The worst possible scenario at the top level HW.
Definitely possible. We saw from the Povetkin scorecards that you cannot beat Joshua on the cards. He's like Canelo 2.0. Those scores were atrocious. The commentary was also horrible.
Povetkin was schooling Joshua.

Re: The worst possible scenario at the top level HW.
Are you suggesting that Joshua was gifted the Parker decision?
Re: The worst possible scenario at the top level HW.
5-1 going into the 7th you mean. Joshua barely landed anything until Povetkin gassed.
Parker did not lose that fight 118-110. I think those were the scores. Despicable scoring for Joshua fights. So my point still stands.
Re: The worst possible scenario at the top level HW.
One decision that went the right way. Your evidence is shaky at best. I had the Parker fight 116-112. The Povetkin fight 4-2 Pov. I do disagree with the official cards in the Pov fight. However, in neither case did the cards matter, at all.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑23 Sep 2018, 22:33Parker got to the cards.

You have no argument. Best yet, AJ makes sure that you do not have one by stopping everyone.
The worst case scenario is if Fury takes another dive into a mountain of cocaine and the Wilder fight gets cancelled after AJ has scheduled something.

Some people scoring rounds against Joshua when he boxes purely as they know he can go through the gears.
I have watched the Parker fight a couple of times and still find it hard to make a definitive case for him winning more than a couple of rounds.

I just gave you an argument. You even had the Parker/Joshua fight closer than those dumb cards, so you pretty much agree.ironbeard wrote: ↑23 Sep 2018, 22:44One decision that went the right way. The worst case scenario is you ever posting on this forum again. My god, the people that post on here...

Watch it without the fanboy glasses on, maybe you'll see. Parker won more than 2 rounds easily.sharpei_louis wrote: ↑24 Sep 2018, 02:23 Some people scoring rounds against Joshua when he boxes purely as they know he can go through the gears.

He's definitely going to get robbed vs AJ.
Seen it time and time again, British judges and refs trying to protect Eddie's golden goose.
They had AJ beating Povetkin. Ridiculous. You can't at all make a case for AJ being ahead at the time of the stoppage. Then they had a dodgy stoppage vs Takem and the dreadful ref vs Parker.
Fury will get screwed over.

Unlike (really pathetic) trolls like you, I do not throw tantrums every time the cards come back a round or two different than mine. Parker lost the fight. There was zero controversy. Povetkin nearly got killed. Again, no controversy.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑24 Sep 2018, 04:04I just gave you an argument. Now go change your Depends and find something else to squawk like an offended donkey about.
Re: The worst possible scenario at the top level HW.
Is Joshua a level above Povetkin ? Yes, he is.
Did Joshua deserve the victory against Povetkin ? Yes, he did .
How many rounds Joshua won (after six rounds) ? One round surely, two rounds maximaly.
Does Joshua need this kind of judge's help ? No, he doesn't.
Is Hearn a great evil for boxing ? Yes, he is.
Should Wilder/Fury winner accept to face Joshua in UK. No !
By the way, I like Joshua, and I have a great respect for him.

I've taken my fanboy glasses off and now completely agree with you. Seems I had no opinion after all.
