Sportsmanship at it's finest! A true boxing gentleman! WOW!
Don't know but AJ is a down to earth and a cool guy.tiny_acres wrote: ↑24 Sep 2018, 12:43 My opinion is it is all well scripted. He is this generations Oscar DeLaHoya.
I personally don't care if he's genuinely that classy or it's all an act. He's a good fighter whatever the case, and that's all that really matters for most of us. Not like we're gonna be meeting, and hanging out with the f*cking guy anytime soon anyway.tiny_acres wrote: ↑24 Sep 2018, 12:43 My opinion is it is all well scripted. So was Sugar Ray Leonard. So was Oscar..... They are a product of millions of dollars of financial backing.apollo creed wrote: ↑24 Sep 2018, 12:45Don't know but AJ is a very down to earth and cool guy.tiny_acres wrote: ↑24 Sep 2018, 12:43 My opinion is it is all well scripted. As I have stated numerous times on here. I really enjoy watching AJ fight. He is entertaining.gilgamesh wrote: ↑24 Sep 2018, 12:46I personally don't care if he's genuinely that classy or it's all an act. He's doing all of the right things to be a cross over star. Just like Leonard and Oscar.
I don't give a damn how fighters act outside the ring. For Christ sake Mike Tyson was a huge freaking dick But he was amazing to watch.

You are the type of poster who trolls anyone who says a negative thing about your fighter.
For the record, though you didn't ask me. I always very much appreciated the way Dan Henderson carried himself outside the ring.
nice post mategilgamesh wrote: ↑24 Sep 2018, 13:53For the record, though you didn't ask me. I always very much appreciated the way Dan Henderson carried himself outside the ring.
Particularly with the Michael Bisping promotion the 1st time around.
Bisping was constantly talking about "I'm gonna f*ck him up. I'm gonna kick his ass" all this and that.
Hendo's response was always just "Yeah...we'll see"
I like that. Talking don't mean sh*t. He never engaged in that "I'm gonna kick your ass" kinda talk, but when he got in there he was trying to take your f*cking head off, and he had destruction in his eyes. That's the kinda personality I like. All business, where it matters. In the fight.
Marcos Maidana had a moment I liked I forget against who, but somebody tried to touch gloves with him at the start of the fight, and he just threw an overhand right trying to knock the guy out...I like that too. We can be respectful up until the bell rings, once the bell rings. F*ck You!
literally all i posted was 'what is the 'right' way for a fighter to carry themselves'tiny_acres wrote: ↑24 Sep 2018, 13:50You are the type of poster who trolls anyone who says a negative thing about your fighter.
There is no debating with that type of fan.
I've stated my opinion
Again have a good day
Joshua constantly says how "humble" he is. Let me clue you in... he's not. Hpw humble was he when beat Whyte?
He also consoled him at the post-fight presser after Dorts cried.Deleted_Scenes wrote: ↑24 Sep 2018, 14:34 Gassiev did the same when he beat Dorticos. Gave him his belt back and had some photos with his team.
That one seemed a genuine class act. You can never really tell with Joshua. Most of it seems to be part of his manufactured 'image'.
She should have given the lass she “beat” in the Olympic final her gold medal.KiwiRider wrote: ↑24 Sep 2018, 14:43 After her unification fight, Katie Taylor went into Bustos's dressing room and gave Victoria her belt back to keep. Bustos had held the belt for about 3 years and the sanctioning body were due to replace it with the latest version after the fight.
So Katie handed it back, left the stadium without it and waited 3 weeks for her new belt to arrive.
Now that's class!
Never knew about that one. I thought champions got a copy of the belt to keep anyway though, even after losing the title. A nice touch regardless, from both Taylor and Gassiev.KiwiRider wrote: ↑24 Sep 2018, 14:43 After her unification fight, Katie Taylor went into Bustos's dressing room and gave Victoria her belt back to keep.
