Joshua constantly says how "humble" he is. Let me clue you in... he's not. Hpw humble was he when beat Whyte?

Joshua is also a racist, black supremacist, drug dealing thug. His nice guy act is about as thin as his overrated ability.

If anything calling him a "Drug Dealing Thug" based on nothing at all I'd say screams that YOU are the racist in this equation

Wasnt he convicted for drug related crimes?

I think RKY talks about the tweet AJ posted about Chambers that he is a shame for superior black race or something like that. I dont remember if it was fake or not.

He was convicted of "possession with intent to sell". He said "the black race is superior". I reckon you owe me an apology.

He sold some weed when he was younger. The way some people talk, you'd think he was Pablo Escobar.

I think if it was an act, his true persona would have made itself known by now.

The man has stopped more than twenty opponents, most of them very big men, and many of them talented pugilists. Obviously in order to achieve that he has a side to him that maybe Mother Theresa doesn't.

He is a nice guy but even if he isn't, he conducts himself like he is, and I think that's all anyone can do.

In a thread about Joshua's persona i merely stated some well known facts. Rather than check them out you said I made them without any basis and insinuated i was some how racist for making them. :shame:

Is that lebedev he shakes hands with first? If you call any black guy, who got arrested with a few g (intention to sell  ) and as a teen said once (lived through a phase where he thought) "back race is superior" a BLACK SUPREMACIST THUG, then you have to a) think twice b) get used to people calling you a dumb racist. Wether an act or not, i guess he was an angry kid & lived up to it and found out that showing some respect towards people is actually the better way of dealing with life than being a 24/7 pissed off douchebag, who gives a shit about nothing but himself. It's called growing up. Personally his everybodys darling image is going on my nerves, think he's overdoing it.

What a load of shiit. Firstly, Joshua has a string of convictions, including GBH (assault) - he first started bulking up with weights because he thought he was going to prison. Secondly, he was selling drugs when he was a part of Team GB olympic boxing squad. He was arrested in his Team GB tracksuit and had to train wearing an ankle tag. As for his racist message, he sent a private message to Eddie Chambers only last November (Eddie was in Fury's camp) and called him "A disgrace to the superior black race".

AJ isn't stupid, he knows exactly the kind of laid back "humble" persona he wants to give off to the media and his sponsors, but some of us see through it for what it is. Casuals lap it up though, both in and out of the ring.

KiwiRider wrote: 24 Sep 2018, 14:43 After her unification fight, Katie Taylor went into Bustos's dressing room and gave Victoria her belt back to keep. Bustos had held the belt for about 3 years and the sanctioning body were due to replace it with the latest version after the fight.
So Katie handed it back, left the stadium without it and waited 3 weeks for her new belt to arrive.

Now that's class!
Never knew about that one. I thought champions got a copy of the belt to keep anyway though, even after losing the title. A nice touch regardless, from both Taylor and Gassiev.
EDIT: RKO confirmed it.

Another moment I liked was at the Briedis vs Charr weigh in. Briedis, the gentleman, went to shake hands with Charr. Charr completely blanked him, so Briedis turned to the crowd, shrugged his shoulders a little and gave a confused smile. Then in the ring, he went and ironed him out more emphatically than either Klitschko or Povetkin could manage.
A champion always keeps his belt.

ya its true, the new champ poses with the belt but it goes back to the previous holder and a new ones made for the new champ

i remember after geale won the ibf in germany vs slyvester an aussie article expressed outrage that geale didnt get to take a belt home, with the writer suggesting that the ibf mustve gave geale no shot of winning, but thats just how its done

of course a new belt wont be made until after, or else it would be that new used belts (cus the champ retains) keep getting made and money wasted

Joshua and his team denied (of course, what else should they do) sending those posts, stating "chambers wasn't on their radar at all!", claiming his account was hacked, which isn't something never heard of before. Also those comments don't seem in check with all the other shit he posts on social media. I doubt you have or will hear any racist remarks from joshua's mouth directly. Again, i'm not a fan of joshua at all and don't care very much if he's a racist dickhead or not, but if you tell a story, tell the whole story.

A person is far more likely to show their true colors in the face of adversity. It's always more telling to observe the words and actions after a loss, for instance.

I echo the sentiments of many others in this thread, he is a terrific fighter and that is his only real relevance in my life, I am not asking him to be a superior human being, I don't ask any more of him than I do of anyone else.

Yet, whether he is genuinely a humble and classy guy or whether that is merely PR for the purpose of making more money will ultimately be made clearer when he faces some setbacks in the ring. It's not too hard to be a good guy when everything is going right.

Good. Sick of boxing being associated with thugs and general reprobates. I get boxing brings people from all walks of life, but civility should be prevalent everywhere.

I think the Klitschkos were a good example.
