There is a stink around him now . Be interested what Andrade and his team say but at 800k for their man it might not be much.

Negligence from his team as not knowing the rules of the fight in Massachusetts but far from a drugs cheat on this evidence if he hasn't done anything wrong in the bbboc eyes

Out of competition, in competition, whatever, it is indicative of shady shite going on up there. People threw accusations at him of being on some sort of assistance as the improvement to his physique and performance (not skills, but the things assistance helps with such as stamina) seemed disproportionate. And there we go, he gets popped with something. Regardless of the result of this, throw him up there with Evan Fields, Mosely, RJJ and Canelo as forever tainted.

This is naughty enough but also shows an attitude that they do not think #hardworkdedication and just good nutrition is good enough for Billy. What else has he taken I wonder?

i imagine whoever gave him a dose of any kind of stimulant was either a massive masochist, or someone with access to a large amount of cotton wool to stuff their ears with.

Though Saunders failed a Vada test, he will not face any punishment from the British Boxing Board of Control, which regulates boxing in the United Kingdom, because oxilofrine is only banned in the UK "in competition", which the BBBoC defines as being only on the day of the fight

Makes you wonder how many UK fighters are on it and all you have got to do come off it before the fight.

To be honest is it that big of a deal? this isn’t like he’s juicing it’s not much different to taking normal gym supplements, if he was taking a stimulant on fight night that’s one thing but this is something that’s legal to use during training.

So that's why we've been doing so well at boxing for the last decade. Our boxing regulator has been letting our boxers cheat. I bet there all on this. God knows what else is legal here and not in the US.

It's like how all our cyclists and top athletic athletes have asthma.

That's where Russia went wrong. We know how to cheat legally.

Is this why Joshua and his team don't want to fight Wilder in the US? As they don't want VADA testing.

What I don't get is that Frank says Billy Joe hasn't failed under UKAD or WADA rules. But surely if the governing body for where the fight will take place choose VADA as there chosen body & it's banned by them. Then he has failed and won't get sanctioned for the fight?

Also why isn't there an industry standard, ok have different bodies for around the globe, but they all adhere to the same rules.

It makes no sense for anyone to leak it, Eddie loses his first high profile American show on dazn, Billy Joe loses his title, andrade loses his shot. So who has leaked it.

Seems like Mickey called it right!
Let's see, it's a possibility that the local US board could call it off, but realistically with so much money involved it will be glossed over.

So if the VADA test doesn't count why was Saunders tested ? Money talks and Eddie won't want that show called off and they won't want to lose any sanctioning fees

I think through this whole thing, and as impressive as BJS was in his last fight (very is the answer), Andrade is no walk over. With this, the video messes, Martin Murray nonsense, his heads gonna be all over the place, Could get KO'd

Vada have the best screening system so this has flagged up, but the results are passed to the sanctioning bodies who have their list of prohibited drugs. No sanctioning board in boxing prohibits this stimulant during training as it only lasts 12 hours. It’s banned within 24 hours of a fight, basically VADA yellow flagged it and fat Dan broke a false story. It’s a storm in a teacup he’s allowed to take the stimulant and that’s about that.

Yeah, it's sad - I LOVED those two :brick:
Sometimes, you think, well everyone's on something, why not just drop the rules altogether ?
At least it would be fair - is there any popular support for this ?

I mean for drug testing. Why are something's banned by VADA but acceptable to UKAD. They should all be singing of the same hymn sheet.
