WBSS SMW bout on Friday. Georges Groves won me money as an underdog vs Chris Eubank Jr. . This is a decent small favorite price against a boxer in Smith who has not fought the same level of competition by far. Smith has height and an undefeated record, but if Groves is healthy I believe that he'll outclass the larger Smith.

Georges Groves (-125) vs Callum Smith $500.00 for $400.00

I also added this prop I like as it covers any win by Groves as well as Groves' shoulder giving out and Smith winning by injury TKO plus draw:

Not Callum Smith by 12 round decision (-275) $275.00 for $100.00

Groves seems great value, i was expecting Smith to be a longer underdog than he is. I think it's possibly just the case Groves has always been underestimated.

On the undercard I like the look of Eubank rounds 1-6. Never heard of his opponent before but his record is deplorable... he lost to a 2 fight novice earlier this year. This seems an almighty mismatch. Around evens for Eubank in 6.

what bookie
16/1 for GG to quit on his stool.

Worth a little punt in case his shoulder pops again

I've got £100 on Callum Smith by Decision or TD at 11/4. Easy money IMO. :TU:

Skybet. It's one of the request a bets.

I'm big on Eubank inside 6, if that comes in I'll probably hedge between the above bet and a little on Groves by stoppage.

if hes hitting groves enough for it to be easy, do you not think a stoppages much of a possibility, esp. if the shoulder problem does flare up?

It's definitely possible. I just think Groves hits hard enough to keep Smith on his toes.

That was the bet I liked. That injury though was a real bad one. Groves is also back in the ring in a relatively short time considering the injury. So I opted for Smith straight win @ 5/4. I wouldn't be surprised if Groves shoulder went again. Can see Smith pushing down on it and twisting it in the clinchs.

I'm putting it out there that some members of JJ McDonagh's immediate circle of family and associates were extremely happy with those odds ;-)

Kevin Johnson is 28/1 to beat Daniel Dubois with BlackType...20/1 at Paddy Power and Betfair.

Johnson's a lazy, frustrating boxer but if he hasn't read the script and sees a chance he could just spring an upset - given how untested Dubois is and how many questions still hang over him. At those odds it's got to be worth a punt.

Johnson has no chance.

He's been imported to lose. And that's exactly what he'll do. Probably by KO, despite his solid chin.

Some American books list Dubois as a 1-100 choice.

Normally I wouldn't go near Johnson but I'm not sold on Dubois yet. Johnson's a significant step up for him.

Missed the line of the year with this under opening at -105. Joyce is the heavyweight specimen who his opponent took one look at and walked out of the ring a few weeks ago that made the viral rounds. I'll still take it at this dear price against an opponent who has been knocked out rounds 5 & 6 in his most recent two bouts. Tonight on FS1:

Joe Joyce/Iago Kiladze Under 4½ (-265) $132.50 for $50.00

Dubois was getting the better of Povetkin in their sparring recently.

Didn't get a chance to look at any of Saturday's stuff. Skybet boosted Callum Smith by KO/TKO to 4/1, had £7.12 in my account and got £35.60 back. On a great roll at the moment.

Odds are up for this weeks fights.

Loads of fights on but the bets that stand out to me is Roman decision 8/11, Davies decision 13/5 and Relkh decision at a whooping 9/2.

£10 gets you £340.
