DeAndre Ware looks to shine Fr. night against Cem Kilic

NEW YORK (Sept. 27, 2018) -- Undefeated Toledo fireman, DeAndre Ware, will look to make a big statement this Friday night when he takes on fellow undefeated foe Cem Kilic in the opening bout of a ShoBox: The New Generation card live on SHOWTIME® (10 PM ET/PT) at Pechanga Resort in Temecula, Calif.

Ware (12-0-2, 8 KOs) is looking to the capitalize on the opportunity the scheduled eight-round super middleweight bout after Kilic's original opponent Donnie Marshall fell out of the fight.

"I'm thankful for the opportunity to fight on ShoBox and to display my talents to the world," Ware said.

Ware, who is coming off his most significant win when he scored a majority decision over undefeated Enrique Collazo on June 9th, is looking to throw himself right in the mix in the talented super middleweight division

"After I defeated Enrique Collazo, I went right back to the gym, and I haven't stopped training," Ware said. "I had a few fights fall out but kept training because I knew my time is coming. Friday night, the world will be introduced to the best super middleweight in the world, Deandre 'The Axeman' Ware!"

Ware showed loads of heart and a great chin but Kilic won the decision in an action-packed bout.

Despite the loss, dont be too surprised if you see the crowd-pleasing Ware on Shobox again in the future. He staggered Kilic a few times but the Turk is a better boxer.

Yeah that was a hell of a fight. Kilic deserved the decision, landing the harder, cleaner shots I thought, but man what a war that was. Ware can hold his head high, he gave a tremendous effort.

Tremendous showing by Ware!! Especially considering he works a full-time job as a firefighter!! I'll watch him again!!
