Kameda, Kyowa & Rachman all win

The east asians are very strong at the lower weights right now. I'd love to see a few more big fights between the top Thais/Japanese and the Mexicans. Apparently Kameda is taking one more fight before challenging for a world title, which is amazing really considering that he's only 19 and has only had 11 pro fights so far in what is probably the toughest division in all of boxing right now.

Kameda is a very tough kid, a little dirty but fighting at home in Japan he is progressing into a very impressive prospect. In his previous fight with Bouchan he whacked the Mexican with quite a few low blows which provoked angry scenes between corners at the end of the fight. He is improving with every fight though and the second round TKO over Fajardo shows he may well be ready to move into championship contention at just 19, a great achievement.

Eagle Kyowa is one of my favourite fighters at the moment, the best Minimumweight he throws a huge amount of punches in a fight and has phenomenal fitness. His fight with Kawashima was a really good scrap. His latest win was a unanimous decision over an unbeaten 22-0 fighter, the close scores indicate a tough battle for little Kyowa who was excellent last time out dismantling Ken Nakajima. I would like to see him in a rematch with Isaac Bustos to avenge that sole loss (on injury) and then a unification with soft punching but skilled Ivan Calderon who has been shown a few times on big US fight cards.

I hope Eagle fights either Rachman or Niida next.
