If GGG would fight Murata in Japan I think it would be a good promotional fight for GGG.

Total mismatch.
Re: GGG vs Murata - a decent match up that I'd like to see it !
It'd be interesting if they did it in Japan, but yeah I think GGG would take him apart.

No. GGG vs winner of Jacobs-Derev or Saunders-Andrade is more interesting.

Wow, you guys obviously either don't watch or are fanboys. Murata is a darkhorse of the division for sure. He completely neutralized N'Dam twice. He's definitely a dangerous fighter.

Oh 7 year old amateur results sure do act as reflective guides of the sport today don't they.
And it was hardly a school. A fair win for Khytrov but not a schooling/destroying you thicket
Talk is this will take place in the Tokyo dome next Spring BTW, Mr Honda is very interested in putting the fight together despite GGG's recent set back

I like Murata. Imo he's better than Andrade. I have him as #6 MW. Jacobs fights Derevyanchenko, Saunders fights Andrade/gets suspended, Charlo is WBC Mandatory challenger, Murata is the best available opponent for GGG for a comeback fight. Either him or Sulecki would be the best choice for Zhenya, but Sulecki wants an easier fight after losing to Jacobs (probably Gabriel Rosado) so Murata is by far the best choice.
I think that Murata would be Golovkin's third best opponent in his career.

I think Golovkin still has way too much for Murata.
Re: GGG vs Murata - a decent match up that I'd like to see it !
it would be an okay fight now imo, would be interesting if ggg went to japan
Re: GGG vs Murata - a decent match up that I'd like to see it !
And Ruenroeng lost several times to Shiming in the amateurs. What does that have to do with the professional ranks? By the way, the Khytrov in the amateurs is not the same fighter as in the pros. He's regressed a lot.
Re: GGG vs Murata - a decent match up that I'd like to see it !
when did khytrov destroy murata? that close 24-22 fight?
and lol murartas an olympic gold medalist and world champs runner up, knocking his amateur career is laughable, he accomplished more then the vast majority of even top pros
if theres good money for ggg to go to japan (is there?) it would be an okay fight, interesting to see golo in japan and muratas not bad, better then most golovkins opponents
to me it seems like not a bad fight for ggg to return on

Mismatch and waste of time. What has Murata done to remotely warrant a fight like this? Beat N'Dam? Lemieux beat a younger more prime version of N'Dam and GGG crushed him.
Guys with 0 wins over divisional top 10 fighters should not be fighting P4P elites.

Perfect comeback opponent to gauge where he is at.

Murata's team have been piling a war chest to lure Golovkin over for a while, Murata did the Japanese analyst role for Golovkin Vs Canelo II and looked like he'd been robbed when the decision was rendered, as if he'd literally seen the pay day go down the drain (it was a few days later before Honda stated they were still interested).jamamb wrote: ↑30 Sep 2018, 16:43 when did khytrov destroy murata? that close 24-22 fight?

There's money there if GGG wants the fight, and there is real interest in the bout over there.

Ggg doesn't need a comeback-fight to gaige where he's at, he beat canelo twice, no matter ... ah forget it. Btw... we all age daily, i would even think you could argue hourly, minutely, by the second, constantly all the effing time. All ggg has to do is take the next damn fight that gives him the biggest payday, fornicating shame, he has to write off a few million from that cheque, just because they fucked him over twice.

You (plural) start aging in your thirties.adislav123 wrote: ↑30 Sep 2018, 18:05 Ggg doesn't need a comeback-fight to gaige where he's at, he beat canelo twice, no matter ... ah forget it. No matter who we think won those fights the official result is a draw and a loss.lazboy wrote: ↑30 Sep 2018, 18:44You (plural) start aging in your thirties.adislav123 wrote: ↑30 Sep 2018, 18:05 Ggg doesn't need a comeback-fight to gaige where he's at, he beat canelo twice, no matter ... ah forget it. That alone can take a mental toll on GGG.
Add in his age and a comeback gets a lil more difficult. This fight is perfect to tell if he's 100% or 80% of where he was

I do agree. It’s a good fight and opportunity for both.tiny_acres wrote: ↑30 Sep 2018, 19:30No matter who we think won those fights the official result is a draw and a loss.lazboy wrote: ↑30 Sep 2018, 18:44You (plural) start aging in your thirties.adislav123 wrote: ↑30 Sep 2018, 18:05 Ggg doesn't need a comeback-fight to gaige where he's at, he beat canelo twice, no matter ... ah forget it. If the money is there, why not, but still GGG won't have any problems brookin' up murata in under 8 rounds. As of the aging, i wasn't talking about children & i guess professional boxers/athlets would strongly disagree your statement that we (plural) start aging in our 30's, but okay that's what you (singular) may think.lazboy wrote: ↑30 Sep 2018, 19:47I do agree. You (singular) must tell me when the body begins to age as clearly I am not as learned as you (singular) and the whole professional boxers and athletes of this world you (singular) vouch for.adislav123 wrote: ↑30 Sep 2018, 20:02If the money is there, why not, but still GGG won't have any problems brookin' up murata in under 8 rounds. Can we all agree in hindsight how ridiculous this thread was?
