Re: Jarrell Miller vs. Tomasz Adamek - October 6, 2018
I doubt he will. Too big difference in size, particulary in weight. 25-30kg of difference, Adamek is 41 and former LHW, his chin is not that great as it was before. He will try to get inside, land 2-3 quick punches and go out of Miller's range. He must avoid Miller's punches, he can't trade with him. There is virtually no chance of stopping Miller while Miller can stop smaller and older Adamek with pressure. Molina already knocked Adamek out with one good punch in round 10 so can Miller. Of course, Adamek was way ahead on the scorecards and the refree shouldnt stop this fight (Adamek was on his feet at 9 and it was 1 second before the bell rang) but Miller is a different fighter, it gonna be hard to outpoint him, Molina is more lazy (Before the Adamek fight he had a full camp and probably was juiced too) but thats what Adamek needs to try to do against Miller. It looks like it's a 12 rounder, not 10 rounder as previously was announced if i remember well, imo more rounds = less chances for Adamek. But apparently Adamek camp wanted it to be 12 rather than 10Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑26 Sep 2018, 02:30What I meant was will he stand and trade?

This is almost as bad as when Adamek fought Vitali.
It was like a kid trying to fight his dad!
Hopefully they both come out healthy from this fight

Adamek goes to Chicago today - have to say that Adamek's team seems to be extremely confident and it doesn't seems to be fake, looks like they really believe that he can win this fight. Gus Curren says he is in same shape, if not better, like in Arreola fight. Other rumours also say that Adamek is in excellent shape.
His training camp, his trainers, traning methods, sparringpartners, everything seems very professional unlike in the Adamek's Bloodworth era. What a shame that Adamek wasted himself with Bloodworth.

Re: Jarrell Miller vs. Tomasz Adamek - October 6, 2018
More like 80kg weight difference, or did miller slim down from 300? He's just a really thick guy
his workrate is amazing given his size. To me it's an odd pairing, adamek can't trade with him but he won't just run either, he'll try to be quick on his feet, in & out but miller should be able to at least corner adamek a few times and beat on him so the ref can stop it. Miller TKO 7.

Adamek is getting brain damage in this fight. Miller hits like a mule and never stops punching.

Re: Jarrell Miller vs. Tomasz Adamek - October 6, 2018
actually its more of a problem for adamek that miller doesnt hit like a mule, and instead is an accumulation puncher who focuses more on moving his hands then really loading up on things. adamek will take more shots then if he was just bombed out. although he could get stopped early too, wouldnt surprise me at this stage of his career
either way miller is going to seriously overpower him

Re: Jarrell Miller vs. Tomasz Adamek - October 6, 2018
I remember when Adamek had his coming out party in a local Polish derby against a basically retired and aged, Andrew Golata. Now he's come full circle and he's the aged, over-the-hill fighter after a last pay day. Miller may win this one easily, but seems to be fighter of the type we saw a lot of in the Klitschko era; gets a title shot, loses and turns into a journeyman.

Re: Jarrell Miller vs. Tomasz Adamek - October 6, 2018
This "fight" is totally useless.
Adamek has about as much chance to get out of this one in one piece as a meatball thrown to middle of rat pack.
This is like putting Rigondeaux against Canelo. The smaller man can run all night but even if he did he will never win on points. Probably gets caught too.
Miller is too much of a known quality already. He will easily win this one.
Someone like Joyce, Dubois or other new prospect would at least be interesting. Adamek could work as a measure stick in that kind of fight.
Time to bet the house to get few pennies![[icon_twisted.gif]](./images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif)

I am going to bet ~1000$ on Miller. I think that Adamek will win some rounds and is not going to be stopped early but i can't see him win this. In Poland for 1000$ on Miller win you can get 1300$ up to even 1500$Heretic wrote: ↑05 Oct 2018, 01:35 This "fight" is totally useless.

It's a 12 rounder, i am sure that Adamek can't survive that much with a tank like Miller.
Edit: Of course i mean by KO

Chaps,
I know i joke about a bit with Miller.
Calling him Jarell "The Buffet" Miller and stuff - but he just weighed in at 317 pounds!!!
(THREE HUNDRED AND SEVENTEEN)
Career high. Just when we thought he was slimming down and getting some definition, this!
If Ademek has enough stamina to go hard late in this fight, he could cause an upset
317
By the the way, Adamek was 227

lol ya, except valuev was about 8 inches taller then miller
i mean, i think millers actually shown some decent work rate and stamina for a hw, but surely if his weight keeps balooning it will take a toll. a 6'4 guy simply shouldnt 317 pounds, i dont think there's any build that makes that height/weight make up ideal for boxing

Lol Miller must eat around 10000kcal per day
Re: Jarrell Miller vs. Tomasz Adamek - October 6, 2018
Makes me bit afraid for Adamek really... Miller might accidentally eat him
Re: Jarrell Miller vs. Tomasz Adamek - October 6, 2018
Fight leaves me cold
Miller will beat on a past it adamek

Re: Jarrell Miller vs. Tomasz Adamek - October 6, 2018
Miller is a freak. 317 is just insane. He should steamroll this version of Adamek. Hopefully after this one he'll be in an interesting fight. Think Hearn is lining him up to face Fres Oquendo for the WBA Regular belt though.
