He got out at the right time, his last few years at Sky were not great, but the early days were glorious.

Miles better than Smith who spends more time talking about past tense things than the fight in front of him

And if Adam Smith reads posts on here, and thinks maybe in a few years after he's moved on, fans will miss him too.
No Adam, we won't.

As Charlie said, Jim was at the St Andrews Sporting Club last Thursday. We had BBC Scotland covering the British Bantamweight Title & Jim was there with his wife Margaret to be made a Patron of the Club in recognition of his outstanding contribution & support.charliebox324 wrote: ↑03 Oct 2018, 04:26 Was guest at St Andrew's Sporting Club last Thursday for British Bantamweight Title.Looked very well.
Jim & Ken Buchanan topped the bill on the opening night of the St Andrews Sporting Club in 1973 & I believe that 45 years on, it is the oldest surviving private members boxing Club in the world.
Jim had a lovely video tribute shown to the sell out crowd and a great interview with top Scottish sports broadcaster, Hugh Keevins. Both Jim & Margaret were looking great.
