Ive fancied Catterall on points or possible late stoppage from the start but not with great confidence tbh. Davies will be awkward and test his chin but fancy Catterall to grind through and outwork him. Looking forward to itTerry Dooley wrote: ↑04 Oct 2018, 06:03I think Catterall on points as he has gone the full route whenever he steps it up. He'll have to be careful through the first six as I reckon Ohara will want to make a statement and may blow a gasket trying to do it. I was going to go but I'm heading to Oldham instead.Stuarty wrote: ↑03 Oct 2018, 19:06How'd you see the fight going Tel?Terry Dooley wrote: ↑03 Oct 2018, 16:38
That pretty much sums him up. I spoke to Catterall for this week's BN and he was quietly confident. He has lined up a life for himself post-boxing and came across well. He knows the Davies routine and having seen Mayweather up close and personal is nonplussed by it all.
Who are you going for?
Jack Catterall Ohara Davies

Terry with your inside track can you find out how many rounds this is for me, BN says 10 Davies thinks its 12.Terry Dooley wrote: ↑03 Oct 2018, 16:48Read BN cover to cover. I'm embargoed until at least mid-Feb.
Tried before ringing Wazza's firm but they never even get back to me.
Seems strange for a very good fight like this no one seems to be sure, assuming the fighters know hence my request to you for perhaps some string pulling if possible

It is 10 as far as I'm aware as there have only been a couple of 12 rounders for that title. I've asked Jamie for you so will get back to you ASAP.GlobalBox wrote: ↑04 Oct 2018, 11:40Terry with your inside track can you find out how many rounds this is for me, BN says 10 Davies thinks its 12.Terry Dooley wrote: ↑03 Oct 2018, 16:48Read BN cover to cover. Re: Jack Catterall Ohara Davies
Good to know it's 12 rounds.
I think that favours Jack more than Ohara
Still a pick em fight, but experience over 10-12 rounds goes to Catterall. And in my opinion, I picked Jack to grind out a win or late stoppage, going 12 makes it slightly more plausible.

Re: Jack Catterall Ohara Davies
Tough fight .I think if ohara Davis has a big heart he could win this fight .i mean he lost to Taylor who I rate as a furture world champ. Catterall ain't a banger. Jack boxes well but gets drawn in to scraps.i think Davis ko.

I feel the same, I think the best Davies beats the best Catterall. It’s a very good match up it could be an up and down contest but I favour Davies to stop him late on.
Raging I’m gonna miss it got a fckin bday party to go to
