Also weird that Inoue enters first, before Payano

Relikh has already fought and he won.

It is the main event. It looks like, the translation mistakenly started to be broadcasted after Relikh fight. http://boxrec.com/en/event/774289dagilechia wrote: ↑07 Oct 2018, 08:07Inoue first then Relikh. Is his power really that much? Another 1st round KO. Payano didn’t know where he was.

To think he started at light flyweight. Still has the power up at bantamweight. What is it though a 10 pound difference?

Since some time i follow the Japanese scene more and more and i really enjoy it. I was never into lower weights but Inoue is one of my favourite boxers, i have revently watched Kimura Tanaka too and it was great as well.

The Japanese scene right now is on fire, recently had Kyoguchi move up, Ginjiro Shigeoka make his debut, so much great action over there right now!dagilechia wrote: ↑07 Oct 2018, 08:26 Since some time i follow the Japanese scene more and more and i really enjoy it. I haven't noticed that because usually i have missed the entrances. It does apply only to Japanese fighters doesnt it? Troyanovski entered first and Relikh second, just like in the States and Europe.Boxing Prospect wrote: ↑07 Oct 2018, 09:18Champions tend to be introduced before challengers in Japan,

Not sure if it's just the Japanese guys, but it does tend to happen a lot over there, happens quite a bit in Thailand too.dagilechia wrote: ↑07 Oct 2018, 09:33I haven't noticed that because usually i have missed the entrances. Just watched a tape of Inoue coldcocking Payano.
Really reminiscent of a young Pacquiao.
Does his right hand thunderbolt have a Manila Ice type nickname?
I wonder how many weight divisions that Inoue---like Pacquiao---can climb and remain a terrorizing, dominating force.
This guy needs to be seen more extensively in the US, instead of being buried on some cable or internet stream.
Would love to see SHOWTIME pick up his fights.

Ken Shiro was absolutely outstanding as well,
He made a top 5 fighter at his weight look like a complete novice. Melindo is no mug.

Yeh. He could have been a 4-weight champion but he skipped a weight. I think Super flyweight.SenorPipino wrote: ↑07 Oct 2018, 14:25 Just watched a tape of Inoue coldcocking Payano.

Re: WBSS Bantamweght (1/4 Final): Naoya Inoue vs. Juan Carlos Payano - October 7, 2018
inoue might be the most impressive raw talent right now
aside from the power, absolute top flight hand speed and is so natural throwing some pretty hard combos, like hook to uppercut with same hand. hes just got such an excellent power shot game in power, speed, variety, and combo
the best chance to beat him might be a tall guy who can jab and move and keep him out of range better. hes not so much a jabber and maybe a longer guy could be pesky and land the jab as inoue comes in looking for power shots
but way easier said then done, i think he might simply be too much of a talent for the others
payano and mcdonnell were not the mugs they looked, both had some solid wins

Congrats Monster! Would love to see him vs Sor Rungvisai. But in the current WBSS line up, I just think if Donaire could get back into his old form just for 3 fights (all WBSS series) I think he is the most likely to beat the monster. just my opinion.
Re: WBSS Bantamweght (1/4 Final): Naoya Inoue vs. Juan Carlos Payano - October 7, 2018
Just watched this and some of inoues previous Kos. He’s got great balance and fast twitch power. I couldn’t even see the shot land on payano. Basically don’t fk with him. Not to mention he looks like a predatory hawk. The others fighters in the comp should quit.
