Well done to Rocky, as world champion you should look for the biggest fights and of course he will get well paid.
I wish more fighters would dare to dream.
Who criticised Dave Boy Green for taking on SRL or Minter for taking on Hagler, Jones or Honeyghan for taking on Curry, London v Ali, the list goes on, I wish we would have more of it in our game.

Is this another PPV? Surely not!
Surely not in the UK. Sky Already have PPV’s for Nov and likely Dec.
The Whyte ppv will be 22nd, so this is taking place a week before. No way. Plus Fielding isn’t the most well known British boxer. It’s gonna be at 3am at night. Who gonna stay up for it let alone buy it?
Fielding will get extra money from UK TV rights without it being a PPV.

Yeh. It might affect the Whyte PPV. And that is already going head to head with the BT PPV.
Then again, the Canelo-Fielding PPV will bomb here..

I think both December 22nd PPVs will bomb anyway. 3 days before Xmas is just terrible timing to try to get people to fork out an extra 20 quid.

not sure anything any time soon will beat randy turpin defeating a 129-1 sugar ray robinson and taking his world title
would still obviously be a huge win of course
This would be a notch below Honeyghan-Don Curry & Laing vs Fat Durán, for my money. Nowhere near beating the best fighter ever for the undisputed middleweight title.
Maybe if Clinton Woods had upset Roy Jones, that'd be on that level, but nothing since.

Probably most of it, but it’s still sh!t timing. January is a tight enough month without adding 20 quid to your TV bill.
Yeah m,ate. I work for a bank.. January is a tough time for many customers. Trying to extend overdrafts and credit card limits.
