No way did Tyson get anywhere near 5 million per fight with Warren , the 3 million offered by Hearn was a sky box office deal , knock a zero off and Tyson probably got 500 k per fight so far .

Nah. A fight with Kauffman wouldn't have been PPV.. I don’t think he did say that. If you read the email Fury tweeted it infers that all 3 would be PPV. Fury vs Whyte/Bellew definitely would have been and I think he could have done Fury v Kauffman as part of a bigger PPV I.e. like he Bellew v Clev 2.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑08 Oct 2018, 06:55Nah. Re: Tyson Fury Reveals E-Mail from Eddie Hearn!!
There's a reason why the sender of a letter or email marks it as private and confidential, otherwise why include it.
It's up to the sender on how to respond if they feel a confidence has been breached. Hearn could attempt a civil action if he so minded and at the end of the day a court would decide. I don't for one minute think Hearn will take that route, however, Hearn will never forgive Fury and will make it his life's work to get his revenge next week, next year or ten years from now. Short sighted by Tyson.
And would also suggest that Fury will receive very few 'official' emails or letters from anybody in the future unless the sender would be happy for them to be seen publicly. Sensible sports people and public figures simply don't do these type of things.
I like big Tyson but he can be really stupid at times.

The sender wanted to keep it private maybe but nothing to say the receiver has to. It wasn't a legal document and it was about Fury so if Fury wants to show his emails I doubt there's anything that can be done. Not very professional though I agree.dalcumly wrote: ↑08 Oct 2018, 07:33 There's a reason why the sender of a letter or email marks it as private and confidential, otherwise why include it.

“When we were talking to sign him, I said ‘look, I understand you want an easy one’. I’ll give you an example, I said to him you could fight Travis Kauffman. That was a guy I wanted him to fight in his first fight back. That is my four-fight plan. That is probably about £30m there as wellmaverick23 wrote: ↑08 Oct 2018, 07:32I don’t think he did say that. “By the way, he won’t fight anywhere at the levels of Travis Kauffman for four fights - Travis Kauffman just got beaten on points at the weekend.
“I said you could fight Kauffman, then you could fight Tony Bellew, Dillian Whyte and Anthony Joshua. That is my four-fight plan. That is probably about £30m there as well.
“But he wanted four fights against this level – but it is going to kill his credibility and kill his value. Is he still a talented fighter? Of course he is.
“He didn’t look it. Is he still the same fighter? You’d think so. He’s done incredibly well to even get back in the gym.”

Yeah - that doesn’t say that those fights would be on Sky sports though does it? I remember Hearn’s plan - do you think if he’d fought Whyte as the 2nd fight back it wouldn’t have been PPV?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑08 Oct 2018, 09:25“When we were talking to sign him, I said ‘look, I understand you want an easy one’. Exactly. Whyte vs Parker was ppv an bellew vs cleverly was ppv but Fury vs Whyte and bellew would not be ppv??? Probably would why lie. Knowing Hearn. I believe this was before Whyte's PPV fight with Parker. Re: Tyson Fury Reveals E-Mail from Eddie Hearn!!
Shelly has been threatening to release emails for a while, yet none have ever been released.
Makes me think that the truth is somewhere in the middle of what both sides are saying.
He may also not want to destroy his own reputation by releasing private emails.

I also agree with the guy asked how this makes Hearn look daft - if anything it makes Tyson look childish and untrustworthy with regards to business discussions.
Re: Tyson Fury Reveals E-Mail from Eddie Hearn!!
Spot on. Calling something private and confidential is not something that is decided unilaterally. I can’t send whatever I want to someone and caveat it with p & c meaning it can’t be shown to anyone else. Unless a confidentiality agreement was signed Tyson can do what he likes with it and if it contradicts what the other party is publicly claiming more power to him.Controversial wrote: ↑08 Oct 2018, 08:18The sender wanted to keep it private maybe but nothing to say the receiver has to. Re: Tyson Fury Reveals E-Mail from Eddie Hearn!!
As much as Fury's capable of beating Whyte, given his comeback rust, I wonder if he was a bit worried about losing to him. I'm also pretty sure that Fury wouldn't cope if he lost to Joshua, whereas he and Wilder are on much better terms, and if Wilder then goes on to beat Joshua, at least Fury can say he lost to the best when he was past his prime (not that I believe he is).
At this point in his career I think he's averse to the rep-ruining risks of the other top-ten guys. Hence Rabbit's roadmap appealing to him, rather than money being his main concern. Fastcar was clearly trying to build him up for Joshua to knock him down, so it's no wonder there's resentment for that, ditto from Fastcar for doing him out of some glory by swerving him.
The boxing does the talking now, as it should. This is only Fury's second massive fight, and the first where he's carrying the pressure of not being the heavy underdog.

He has always been averse to the tough route. His “first” career proved that.
I can believe Fury would cut his nose to spite his face too. He’d be a lot richer with matchroom.
