ya p4p inoue has to rank very well, back to back first round destructions of solid top 10 guys like payano and mcdonnell is an excellent punchers credential, very rare for consecutive first round kos at that level and neither guy had been stopped b4

and thats his 3rd division too, seems most powerful there

P4P off the top of my head:

1. Kudryashov
2. Beterbiev
3. Lemieux
4. Gassiev
5. Briedis
6. Kavaliauskas

Other than Kudryashov who is epic-tier in terms of power, I think the rest are all about even. These are the biggest punchers in boxing.
Inoue is the hardest P4P puncher today IMO. Kudryashov's power didn't look as frightening against Durodola as it has looked against lesser opponents. But he is huge puncher, no doubts. It's just that his power isn't prowen against top-lelev opponents like Inoue's is.
You do know you're talking about Durodola, right? He's as tough as nails. It's like saying someone's power didn't look epic against prime Rios or Provodnikov. This forum... :-?

No, Inoue is not the hardest puncher p4p!

inoue last 2 wins are much better of a punchers credential then what pretty much anyone has. mcdonnell and payano were both top 10 fighters whod never been stopped (unlike durodola for example)

i mean, in there last fights briedis and kavaliakus didnt even put dents in much worse opponents.

absolutely butchering top 10 , durable guys in 1 round, back to back, is very rare and shows excellent power. acting like he hasnt proven his power on a level any of those guys had is stupid and just euro loving

You really need to watch the fights before you speak. Did you know that Briedis' opponent pretty much just came to survive? You could be a very heavy hitter, but it's difficult to stop someone that tactically comes to survive.

Abreu is very awkward and made it a rough night for the Mean Machine. Watch Inoue's fight with Carmona if you want to start looking at it in that way.

No one is a puncher if you look at one fight and talk ish. If anything, that's how you know someone is just looking up BoxRec resumes.

inoue up at 118 has showed excellent power. hes stronger at the weight. we are rating these guys as they currently are, and at 118 hes recently blitzed 2 guys who were top 10 and never been stopped. mcdonnell and payano were totally out of it in 1 r ound. none of these other guys have done that at that level

there is really no knock on his punchers credentials that cant be applied to others, to act like there all clearly better punchers is strange. none of those other guys have scored first round kos vs durable opponents at that level, and we can easily pick out examples of most of them going the distance vs much worse opposition too. im not saying these guys arent top punchers, i am comparing them to inoue

your lithuianian hero didnt even drop cam kreal btw, its not just abreau. he was hitting these guys too

so how about actually saying what evidence shows that inoue isnt at the moment on the same p4p punching level as a guy like kavaliakus

lets compare cases

just to throw some other good p4p punchers out there who havent been mentioned much yet. not saying these guys are the best or even on that elite tier, but i think worth perhaps honorable mentions. seems also like some of these guys stop getting mentioned when they take a loss or two, but i think guys like ggg and kov are still big puncher regardless

tank davis
luis nery (lots of early decisions but 12 of last 13 by ko)
regis prograis
ggg
kov
issac dogboe
jermall charlo
berchelt
callum smith (sometimes labours vs weaker opposition but has really taken apart some decent opponents and the ktfo of blackledge was scary)

and as a 'most powerful punchers' prosepct : lewis ritson......maybe still too low of a level of opposition to be a full-on inclusion but doing the right things to be headed in that direction at the moment

Ritson dosent make my list because his KO's have been at domestic level- but certainly one to look out for.
My check list was;
Have the KO's been at or near the top level?
Have the opponent's been chin checked?
Is it one punch or a combination that sends them down?
Do they manage to get back up?

No, Inoue is not the hardest puncher p4p!
Durodola was knocked down 5 times in 5 rounds agains fat HW journeyman Muralimov. He was also knocked down by Mchunu, Ajiby and Briedis. He is tough as nails, you are right here, but he doesn't have a great chin like Provodnikov does.

Well Briedis and Mchunu both have really good power so going down against them is not that big of a shame.
