Btw, no way would Camp Eddie have let Josh got to Germany in 2016 if Wlad had beaten Tyson. Or any other time for that matter.

Not in 2016 he wouldn't you're correct. Joshua would have still had less than 20 fights.

Maybe he would have waited until he had a similar amount as Tyson.

Tyson fought wlad in his 25th fight.

Joshua still hasn't had 25 fights. Chances are wlad would have been retiring before AJ reached 20fights.

You’re right - but I don’t know what the proves?! Going in to 2016 - AJ had had 15 fights. Would any decent promoter have sent their really strong ticket seller and PPV fighter out to Germany to fight a long gone standing champ after 15 fights?

They’re the same age. I’d class the 2012 home (decision) Olympics and world championships as giving him a huge benefit in experience. Of course he should be fastracked. It’s like saying Loma or Usyk should be given credit for having so few pro bouts. I remember reading on here Ohara Davies had the edge in experience on Josh Taylor!

josh taylor had many many mores times the am fights as davies and had been boxing years longer

So Tyson’s am experience was equivalent to Josh’s? Go back to bed, mate.

How many has Usyk had? They both won in London. Or Loma, or Leon Spinks?

How many amateur fights had those 2 had? They are also exceptional talents of which Joshua isn't.

What’s Usyk, Lomachenko or Leon Spinks of all people got to do with AJ? Everyone’s different.

For what it’s worth AJ won a world title before Usyk (after turning pro after him) and by the time he fought Klitschko (to add the WBA title), he’d already made 2 defences of the IBF, same as Usyk with the WBO.

What’s Tyson’s opposition in his first 22 fights got to do with anything. He didn’t have Olympic funded EIS training for years.

It had nothing to do with anything. That was until you took the thread off track with your usual comments about AJ - and not for the first time.

I think it was that you brought up that Eddie wouldn't send AJ to Germany in 2016.

Someone then mentioned that Tyson at the same amount of pro fights had fought at best del boy.

You then go off on one about AJ being fast tracked.

But then again, Tyson was a fairly well decorated amateur, bronze at the world youths, senior ABA, European junior silver medalist. Ranked 3rd in the world amateur wise. Not a poor back ground.

Maybe he should have been fast tracked.

Amazingly, Josh and Tyson ARE linked so the debate can go that way! They are both heavyweight, British and if Tyson beats Wilder, AJ will no doubt want a shot at him.

As I said, they’re the same age. He won the real title AJ hasn’t even won yet, some would say that he has been fast tracked?

The real title? What's that then? The ring belt or the mythical only became relevant since fury won it lineal title?

Difference is, Tyson would have had dozens of amateur fights as a kid, AJ started at 18. So whilst they may be the same age, there experience levels are worlds apart.

What AJ has done in his short career in boxing since starting at 18 is highly impressive, what Tyson has done in his career is highly impressive.

I'm not sure why you need to constantly refer them against each other. Appreciate them both.

Only reason Spinks fought so early for the title, was because Arum got wind of the drinking, drugs and self-destruction he was heading into.

Made the Ali fight to get some of his investment back.

Don’t think he expected Ali to have an off night.

AJ boxed internationally but wasn’t massively experienced. There’s just not that many exceptional Super-Heavys in the amateurs, so you can’t compare AJ and Loma.

AJ was boxing at British level at the time. So NO he wouldn’t of sent him to Germany.
Fury was established on the world scene.

The Martin fight had to be taken. Gift horse and that.

Ali was 36 and on the slide too, it's normally the guys you underestimate that beat you.

It's up to the sender on how to respond if they feel a confidence has been breached. Hearn could attempt a civil action if he so minded and at the end of the day a court would decide. I don't for one minute think Hearn will take that route, however, Hearn will never forgive Fury and will make it his life's work to get his revenge next week, next year or ten years from now. Short sighted by Tyson.
And would also suggest that Fury will receive very few 'official' emails or letters from anybody in the future unless the sender would be happy for them to be seen publicly. Sensible sports people and public figures simply don't do these type of things.
I like big Tyson but he can be really stupid at times.
On what basis exactly?

Tyson had very few club show bouts. He was nearly impossible to match due to size.

So you're telling me that Tyson didn't have many bouts as a youth? Despite him winning bronze at the world youths?

That means he must have had enough to make the national selectors in Ireland notice him.
