Wouldlve been a good fight lads
Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs. Demetrius Andrade - 20 October 2018
was a good matchup for sure and was esp interested in seeing what andrade had at this level
Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs. Demetrius Andrade - 20 October 2018
btw, if andrade beats this namibian fellow for the wbo title, he has to be up there for having one of the weaker records about 3 time world champs
i know he looks a talent, but were talking career best wins over jack culcay and vanes mart
wouldve loved to see what he had vs a clear world level middleweight

If he gets stripped of his belt he's gonna find it hard to get back in a mandatory position as I can't see many people wanting to box bill. He won't bring a lot to the table and he would be a hard fight for any middleweight out there
Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs. Demetrius Andrade - 20 October 2018
Kugan will be at FW office tomorrow even before the cleaners get there.

Hard to have any sympathy, he's held that belt hostage.smiling assassin wrote: ↑09 Oct 2018, 17:37 If he gets stripped of his belt he's gonna find it hard to get back in a mandatory position as I can't see many people wanting to box bill. That’s Bursak, Anvil, Murray and now Andrade.
I know not all have been Bill’s fault. I have heard some conspiracy theories though.

The Anvil fight. Some forums, not boxrec, had posters saying Frank W. dug into Anvil's past and stitched him up.JimJim2009 wrote: ↑10 Oct 2018, 03:25Do tellRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑10 Oct 2018, 02:02 That’s Bursak, Anvil, Murray and now Andrade.

Yeah he has mate but I think we would of seen him in big fights from here on in. I bet he don't want to be in this sport a lot longer and a run of a few big fights would get him home serious readiessamwbr wrote: ↑10 Oct 2018, 01:32Hard to have any sympathy, he's held that belt hostage.smiling assassin wrote: ↑09 Oct 2018, 17:37 If he gets stripped of his belt he's gonna find it hard to get back in a mandatory position as I can't see many people wanting to box bill. Absolutely no chance. Those sort of investigations take months, if not years.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑10 Oct 2018, 03:32The Anvil fight. Hey, it's not my theory.. and it's not always the case it can even take a matter of days if you know the right people.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑10 Oct 2018, 03:40Absolutely no chance. We’re talking about Khurtsidze, right? He was done under RICO and they arrested like 30 people at the same time under a variety of charges. No chance they could have gotten all the evidence together so quickly.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑10 Oct 2018, 03:46Hey, it's not my theory.. and it's not always the case it can even take a matter of days if you know the right people.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑10 Oct 2018, 03:40Absolutely no chance. Plus I’m sure FW would never do anything so underhand
Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs. Demetrius Andrade - 20 October 2018
Grassing is f*cking dirty
Doubt anyone could get khurtsidze on all that so quick

Anything could happen with the WBO appeal.
Personally, if I had BJS on board I would say to the WBO I would never work with promoting their title again if they stripped them and hurt them in the pocket, otherwise, I don't see BJS goes from here.

Would be a ballsy move from FW. Most of his champs over the last 20 years have come from the WBO - as well as the plethora of easy title defences.

Yea can't see Frank f*cking the wbo up

Frank W. helped legitimize WBO as one of the top 4 orgs!maverick23 wrote: ↑10 Oct 2018, 05:24Would be a ballsy move from FW. Most of his champs over the last 20 years have come from the WBO - as well as the plethora of easy title defences.

Khurtsidze got done by an FBI investigation going back years. They had surveillance from six different states & three countries. The sting that got his boss involving the five tons of stolen chocolate was an elaborate set-up that apparently took years to arrange, FFS.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑10 Oct 2018, 02:02 That’s Bursak, Anvil, Murray and now Andrade.

33 other people went down with him. Anyone who sees the Dread Hand of Fwank behind this is a fuckin' idiot, & probably the sort of person who now posts in the Off-Topic Forum on this board.

And rightly so
Re: Billy Joe Saunders vs. Demetrius Andrade - 20 October 2018
It's odd that there has been no official comment.
No tweets from BJS, no comment from Hearn or official statement from DAZN or Matchroom. Nothing from allegedly.
Very odd. Almost a bit too quiet.
