Whilst funny I think you're overlooking how dangerous the weight cutting issue is. We often get guys who might have weighed in at the same weight, but come the ring bell it can look like one is a few divisions heavier.

With Khan at the end of his career & looking even more fragile than usual I don't think its that big an ask for Brooks not to put too much weight on. And if it is then Brooks can go & fight someone his own size, but we all know how that ends up.

Sensible thing for Khan to do , why should he give away to much weight in this one ,, For sure take a loss and in his case a bad ko for a big money fight with Canelo , after all no one expects him to do anything but lose , BUT in a fight like this thre is profesional pride at stake , his team will know if he gets caught clean he'll go , so why allow Brook to come in a lot bigger ,, Brook is the one pushing for it , if he wants it so bad , the weight will have to be the same .

I would say if there is no hydration clause , this fight is Brook being a profesional bully , , this clause just evens things up a bit , bigger guy , bigger puncher , simply now has to make weight , other than that , bring on Brook , -- Eubank ,,, course then Brooks team would say he's to big , scale him down to 154 .

I'm no Khan nuthugger , I think the guy is a dumb plonker , but he is brave , has shown a big heart in the past , and although for the large part completly deluded about himself , he's took on some good competition , and i can't help but notice Brook who for the large part of his carreer ducked good fighters , only seemed to get vocal about Khan , when he's at the tail end wants a big money fight , and has grew a lot bigger , , he did'nt seem to be vocal about the fight 4-5years ago ,

Good post. I don't think Brook's ducked anyone, though: Porter in the USA, GGG & Spence are hard to knock IMO. Apart from those fights he's fought basically nothing but shite, though.

I don't know if Kell's to blame for this, but I remember back when he fought Michael Jennings people were like "Finally he's fighting someone with a pulse" & then it seemed like another half-decade of treading water before the Porter fight.

It's all very predictable and sadly symptomatic of modern boxing.

Brook really wants the fight. For the money sure but he genuinely seems to have a real dislike of Khan.

Khan will consider taking the fight but only if every single facet is heavily loaded in his favour. The money, the weight, the dehydration, the gloves, the ring etc etc etc the list will be endless.

It's the same crappy game that Mayweather, Pacquao and Alvarez have played in recent years.

Brook responded, saying: "Couple of things for you to Khansider you chinny clown: 1) There’s no IBF title on the line 2)Canelo is moving up a weight class .The fight fans know the only clause you’re really interested in is the get out clause!"

"Brook fought under IBF 10lb rule for few fights, I want the brook fight at 147lbs with a 10lb rehydration limit. All the top fights do it. Give the fans the fight they want."
