Murray was one of the most intimidating fighters I've seen. Years ago he use to post on Sherdog and shared a bunch of personal stories about scuffles he had outside the ring. Kinda disappointed we never got to see more of him in the ufc. He would have been an interesting addition.
I remember reading that thread. He had a rivalry with some black fella from the area that also had a fearsome reputation. His name was Andrew something I think. I think he's now dead though. Someone shot him.
I read a part of the interview, time I'll never get back, apparently he wants to represent Morroco at boxing in the 2020 Olympics.....
I guess the interviewer didn't have the bottle to tell him there is an age limit

Dana said he was the scariest motherfucker he's come across in the UFC. Says quite a bit lol.
Come out of abbeywood didn't he SE London he wouldlnt back down from anything
Lovely area abbeywood :OhYes:

Whenever people slagged off Alex Reid for whatever I’d always remind them he has a win over Lee Murray.
By DQ I think, Murray's fans went apeshit afterwards as well, that was an amateur fight though, I know for a few years Murray tried to get him in the ring again.

Fair point! I suppose what I meant to say was he as handy as his reputation suggests! His nickname was supposedly because he knocked out pretty much everyone he fought.

I thought Jones lost the first fight against Gustafsson. In any case he just barely got the decision and he was probably on the stuff then. I'd like to see Gustafsson win because I almost always root for the underdog and there is no greater underdog than an opponent of Jon Jones.

In his roid fueled prime he couldn’t smash Gus. Unless Rumble wrecked his chin this fight will be just as competitive as before.

Bellator has a double decker this weekend. Tonight Mitrione/Bader are the headliners. Tomorrow night Fedor/Sonnen.

Just saw a hell of a ko on the undercard. A knee put this poor fella out cold before hitting the ground.

Nader basically wrestlefucked Mitrione to a UD.

Looking forward to hopefully a Fedor win tonight.
