question about fantasy fights

Post by squiggy »

Sorry to interrupt the thing here, just please chime in if you have an opinion:
If there’s a fantasy league or tournament that’s supposed to represent fights between the best versions of the best fighters,
What percentage of the fights do you think should end in KO/stoppage?
What percentage of rounds should be 10-8? 10-7? 10-10?

There's quite some amount of KOs, there're also lotta meat grinding wars with mutual KDs, close decisions and etc. However, I don't remember 10-7 rounds being a common thing.

It's really difficult to predict, hence the beauty of The Sim.

Let's say for example, Sugar Ray Leonard fought Julian Jackson at Middleweight.
I think most of us would predict an SRL victory probably by wide pts margin...
But we have seen Jackson KO him.
There are upsets that do happen practically every week, it's really impossible to predict what it going to happen.
