I like Glover's old school look and lack of tattoos.

Why does the MC always say the boxer surname twice?

He did this at last weeks US show too.

It’s old school. It was done regularly in the 90’s

Mad love for Dave Allen from the crowd - can see why he's Fast Eddie's favourite.

Note to boxers.., be a warm, funny 'guy next door' type

Yeah there was a particular American announcer from the 80s - possibly Chuck Hull started the name announcing twice

I assumed it was because the first time it might be drawn out as part of the performance and nickname and not that easy to understand. So he says it again more clearly.

I love it when two British fighters that are obviously going beyond British-level..
Last one I can remember was Frampton vs Quigg - where you watch Yarde one week, "too much power for Buatsi" watch Buatsi next week, "too technical for Yarde" and switching every time they get a good win... :box:

ppl can be enjoy both! though yarde should step up

Well Yarde is full of shite to be honest. His interviews are annoying how he skirts around his continued avoidance of a real challenge. He has fought no one and then dismisses fighting people who challenge him, saying he is above them. How is he? All he has to do is fight just one of these guys and job done, fans will support him and back him more.

I find that when a fighter is constantly skipping challenges, well the obvious reason is probably the right one

I think so, but Allegedly is known for waiting and he's proven he's pretty good judge of timing careers in the past..
Think you're right that Yarde may be a bit under-rated. Sure, he's still got lots of boxes to tick (fighting at a pace for one!) but he's obliterated everyone, while barely breaking in to a sweat - he ain't bad :box:

nah, yardes b een getting sh!t for a while now but hes really only with this last fight deserved it for his matchmaking. and buatsi had 7 fights entering today and johnson took his ibf shot as soon as he beat bugs, not fighting these guys isnt on yarde

and not fighting guys like can crushing hosea (no win above so so english level) and buglioni just doesnt cut it for me as some big blotch. being british really doesnt make them better then some of the guys hes fought

and you can see ppl starting to just generalize the dislike now, going from just criticizing the opp to saying stuff like face defense buglioni is 'too smart' for him, its pretty much all negative now

hosea burton gets more respect for continually fighting f grade trash, like he did yet again tonight

i like yarde, buatsi, johnson, and bugs....all fun fighters
