has 'bad blood' and 'BEEF' ever been this prominent and aggressive in nature to hype fights? obvs theres always been rivalry and some heated stuff, but it just seems to overwhelmingly consistent now compared to when i started watching in 90s.
like we had the whole khabib-mcgregor melee, and then just this week i noticed benavidez and crawford where going full blown on the BEEF--with benavidez even getting into racial issues. and then looking at weigh in pictures the other day from a card in the us (or mightve been canada?) , like pretty much every other set of guys were either shoving each other or touching heads etc (perhaps inspired by the ufc stuff?)
and just in general, it seems we see it over and over and over and over now
BEEEEEEF BRUHHHHH
is this the #BEEFiest' the fight games ever been?

Imagine what they'd be like if they were inhaling ground boar through a nasal spray

It's possibly a side-effect of the orgs ruining the relevance of the belts.
If being a champion meant more then fights would sell purely on who is going to be champ, who can dethrone the champ, who will become mandatory for the champ, etc. But nowadays there's so many belts plus diamond a super champs the very world 'champion' barely means anything anymore, so fighters need another angle to sell tickets.
The Crawford Benavidez attempts at hyping the fight were desperate. A bet between dads and some fake face-off handbags. Yawn.
