Oleksandr Gvozdyk's Titles Held is Wrong

Oleksandr Gvozdyk does not hold the WBC Light-Heavyweight Title as Box Rec states. He will be fighting Adonis Stevenson for that title, held by Stevenson, on December 1, 2018.

He actually holds the interim title. The champions table mentions him because his last title fight was more recent than Stevenson's... I already pointed out the errors in that table in the very beginning, but nobody seems to care as much as to try and change it...

Maybe if there IS no other champion, but Stevenson is the champion, and defended the full title even after Gvozdyk won the interim title... All about sanctioning fees, John, all about the money...

That's theory, I could probably mention a hundred counter-examples out of my head... Brenda Flores won the free interim WBC atomweight title on September 8, while Fabiana Bytyqi contested the vacant full title two weeks later. Flores is still the interim champ, though...

Or Jessica Nery Plata, who is the WBA interim light flyweight champion, full champion Yésica Yolanda Bopp made a title defense last Saturday, but Nery Plata is still the interim champ...

We should finally change the selection for the Champions table. Interim titles should NOT be included - NEVER.

Exactly... But Super Champions should - ALWAYS. There's another possibility, create the same table for women, and give ONE person permission to make manual changes to both. After all, some people are elevated from time to time etc. That person would be me... I volunteer, Sir!
