Josh Wale European title 26th October in France

Post by fightacademy »

Josh Wale challenges George Ory in Vesoul France next Friday 26th October. This is a very winnable fight for Josh since dropping down to Bantamweight he’s on a great run of form winning English then British titles with 2x KO defences now travelling to France for a European title fight which I believe he will win. What a career turn around for this hard working you man who’s never ducked a fight and always gives it is all. English British and European titles would be unbelievable achievement without any tv promoter or backing.

opponent is 9-2-1 (1) and rated 109 on boxrec, and a few inches shorter and going by weights naturally smaller. havent seen him fight but has the profile of a very beatable guy for wale

Hopefully they can rematch but I doubt that will happen it's not how it works ory will now cash in on winning the European in my opinion my stream cut in the 3rd it could av been a close fight we're could av gone either way but from what I have read wale was 4 up easy and alot had it higher

hopefully it goes online, ive seen some fights where a few call robbery but then i watch and it doesnt seem that way at all. i remember massive injustice over lenny daws losing a euro title fight (the scoring too, not just the substance used on the italian) but then i watched and it was a perfectly fair decision

that said, fighting as the visiting boxer significantly increases the odds of poor judging.. or even just the other guy repeatedly getting the benefits of the doubt when rounds can go either way
