Conor won't fight Lee and if he does it's hard to imagine him beating him. He also doesn't deserve a rematch against Khabib either his record against lightweight is 2-2 both loses being bad. Their is winnable fights for him at 155 but of those winnable fights I think a few ie, Barboza, Pettis, Diaz etc can cause him a lot of problems.

I would happily watch a rematch but I doubt it goes a different way.

If he didn’t have the Mayweather money, then there’s a strong chance we’d see these type of ‘rebuilding’ fights. As it is, I very much doubt they’ll happen.

Shame like, as I’d love to see him in all the matchups that you mentioned.

He’ll probably spend the next few months peddling his shite whiskey, then try talk his way into another super fight.

Tbh, I shouldn’t drink whiskey in any form, like firewater to me. 😂

When I’m not just throwing it down my neck, I like to drink Nikka ‘From The Barrel’. Lovely drop.

jamamb wrote: 14 Oct 2018, 01:44 sergei has some pretty legit pure boxing showings too, gave hrgovic hell in world series of boxing and lost that only by split decision, also gave helenius a very tough amateur fight

i remember him fighting nogeuria back in the day, and i think one or both of the nog bros had pretty resepctable boxing experience too. i think the one who was less accomplished in mma did more in boxing and competed in some high level international tournaments like the pan am games.
Sorry for the late reply, health issues driving me up the wall. Yeah, I thought he beat Helenius, certainly pressed the action to which Robert stayed with his back to the ropes. Haven't seen the Hrgovic fight but I'll check it out - sounds like Sergei though.

Yeah, Big Nog vs Kharitonov is one of those HW matchups that rarely happen and maybe won't ever again. Both around 225, extremely fit, great boxing, great ground games within their own disciplines. Fight was pretty much a draw, but Nog just edged it by a hair. He and his brother also spent some time on their boxing with the Cuban amateur club, Sergei also had potential as an Olympian but he opted to fight in Pride. Both Sergei and Little Nog have collected some boxing medals for their efforts.

Looks like PBF and the Russian could happen, I can't see him bothering with UFC again if White mucks him around and he gets the big payday.

Well conor has seven fights left on his contract... I think Diaz 3 will be his next fight..... it is the other potential money maker for the ufc...... and the safest viable option.....

I dont believe Furguson was shit talking when he said conor wanted nothing to do with him..... thats the furthest option for him at this stage.... I think Tony could fornicate him up worse the Khabib did....

I honestly think Conor would still have the beating of Ferguson. While Tony put in an excellent performance against Pettis, he didn’t exactly have it all his own way. Would have been a totally different fight if it was McGregor throwing back in there!

Diaz 3 is definitely the most likely fight for McGregor though

I'd back Ferguson, just. Mcgregors probably technically better but he has quit in him, Ferguson doesn't.

Very true. For all his talk, Conor has shown a soft underbelly on more than one occasion

I think he could find Tony, but if he doesn't put him away early, it's really bad for Conor. Like Diaz, Tony is a very tall and durable LW. I feel Tony is a better version of Diaz in almost every department. His cardio may be the best in all of mma. And I can't remember if Tony has ever been koed.

I would put my money in Tony surviving an early onslaught and stopping Conor in 3.
