Kell Brook SPLITS WITH trainer Dominic Ingle
World Boxing News can reveal Kell Brook is on the lookout for a new trainer after parting ways with Dominic Ingle.
Brook, who is attempting to seal a fight with Amir Khan, is now without a coach as he trains alone on several Instagram posts.
WBN understands the split happened earlier this week, just a short time after Billy Joe Saunders was stripped of his WBO middleweight title for failing a drugs test.
In another move, Brook is considering trialling a partnership with former boxer and friend John Fewkes.
Fewkes, also from Sheffield, retired in 2014 following a 25-fight career. Failing to win the English title, Fewkes hung up the gloves in his 20’s on the back of a decade-long career.
The now 33 year-old is in Brook’s thoughts at his Spanish training base, with the one-time welterweight champion set to decide if the pair have a future.

FEWKES
Linking with Fewkes could be seen as an eyebrow-raising move for Brook, should it eventually become permanent.
The would-be mentor blamed the downfall of his career on ‘pies and pints’ in a previous interview last year.
Speaking to Bob Westerdale of the Sheffield Star in March 2017, Fewkes admitted his love for booze and food played a part in him not reaching the top – domestically.
“I messed up. I was not shy of a pie and a pint or two when I was training so I went from boxing at 10 stone to walking around at 15 and a half stone,” stated Fewkes.
“My sport science was a tin of tuna when I was tarmacing rather than a bacon sandwich. But then I had a bacon sandwich after!”
Specifically mentioning Brook at the time, Fewkes admitted the pair were close friends.
“I was envious of people doing well. Kell (Brook) is really good mate but I couldn’t watch him, it was really too much.
“I always read a game well I knew what to do, it was just putting it into practice, for me. I am better teaching the sport than doing it myself.”
Notorious for putting on weight between fights, Brook has a big job on his hands to make welterweight again for a potential Khan clash.
Whether Fewkes or anyone else is on board, the upheaval of severing a long-term collaboration with Ingle may have a lasting effect for Brook as he contemplates his next and possibly most important career move.

This is a shocker. Brook has been with Ingle since he started boxing as an early teeneager.

Didn't see this coming at all. Not been a great month for Dom
Re: Kell Brook SPLITS WITH trainer Dominic Ingle
Khan contract demands are getting a bit OTT now

Re: Kell Brook SPLITS WITH trainer Dominic Ingle
FEWKES sounds like he'll be a really good trainer.
An underachiever who knows where he went wrong and reckons his strengths are reading a fight.
Sounds promising.

Shocker like, never seen this coming, not many people leave Dom let alone someone like Brook who's been there since he was a kid, I used to love watching Fewkes, he disappeared before I came here and I always wondered what happened to him,
Re: Kell Brook SPLITS WITH trainer Dominic Ingle
Its the second time he's left the ingle camp, he went to train with Dave Coldwell in the early days.
Re: Kell Brook SPLITS WITH trainer Dominic Ingle
By now poor Dom has done a double arm session and is on his second cry wank

A lot of boxers do this towards the end of their careers I think.
Brooks been spending too much time in Malaga. Heat got to him.

Re: Kell Brook SPLITS WITH trainer Dominic Ingle
Its surprising alright, but maybe it is as simple as him feeling he needs to shake things up to keep himself motivated and interested?
Or they had a falling out. Guess we will likely find out in the coming weeks.

He probably hasn’t seen Dom in a while. He’s been in Spain and up until 2 weeks ago, Dom would have been training with BJS.
Re: Kell Brook SPLITS WITH trainer Dominic Ingle
Could be Dom has said no more using nasal sprays , Its bad for the club image
Re: Kell Brook SPLITS WITH trainer Dominic Ingle

" as he trains alone on several Instagram posts " the Ingles are in America and most of the clips are in the Ingle gym. Can't see it myself maybe one of Khans team wrote the article.
Re: Kell Brook SPLITS WITH trainer Dominic Ingle
, Really how the hell can they be so stupid has to NOT KNOW the rules of the testing agency they signed with , everyone knows different agencies and commisions have different rules , very amertuerish from Billy , Ingle , and the camp
Regards Brook , he certainly looked like he had the hump , If all the internet wankers who are discussing it are correct , does that make them correct and he's the wanker , or are we all still wankers LOL
