Re: Boo Boo Andrade’s Opponent
Windhoek (Namibia) is not exactly know as a hotbed of high-quality boxing and he fights almost exclusively from that location. There's also hardly any media of Walter Kautondokwa's bouts, but what little I've seen of him seems unimpressive.
The sole purpose of this bout is to orchestrate a situation whereby both of DAZN's promoters have complete control over all four versions of the world middleweight titles.

Re: Boo Boo Andrade’s Opponent
Andrade is nothing special as well.
Re: Boo Boo Andrade’s Opponent
As long as Kautondokwa trained at a hard level, it won't surprise if he KO Andrade, he KOed the last 5 ok level fighters of his resume for just 17 bouts and being in Africa, we have to consider that. His resume for an African boxer is ok, he is stepping into the difficulty very nice, seems he is the MW pride of African continent, but fighting Andrade will be his ultimate test.
Re: Boo Boo Andrade’s Opponent
Depends on which point of view you are saying, Indongo did a pretty good job vs Burns and Troya, so what? An African fighter can't be a top boxer? A "real fighter" as the other fella said (without proper definition)? Just because most of them come from poor countries? Seems pretty prejudiced as many developed countries don't even have boxers, to not say good or top ones... Dick Tiger and Joshua Clottey were africans champions to say a few.
Re: Boo Boo Andrade’s Opponent
Andrade is a very good fighter. To the point BJS felt the need to dope to fight him. Please stop with the silly hyperbole.

Re: Boo Boo Andrade’s Opponent
BJS arguably lost to Akavov so he is far from great as well.
Andrade didn't impress me vs Culcay as well as in other fights. There are a lot of better MWs at the moment: Golovkin, Canelo, Jacobs, Charlo, Murata, Sulecki, Derevyanchenko and i think that Saunders would beat him too.

Re: Boo Boo Andrade’s Opponent
And I'm not saying he isn't, he would give a tough battle vs Saunders and he is possible to win vs Kautondokwa, I'm just saying that is implied prejudice the way you guys say as if an african boxer couldn't defeat a "real boxer". Never underestimate you may fall from your horse, everyone can achieve greatness, coming from a poor country, continent, with less boxing culture or not as long as he/she trains for it and if Kautondokwa does it, he make it worth as some african did.
* Zolani Tete schooled super prospect, aspiring "real fighter" Mikhail Aloyan, who used a stupid strategy and had all skills and physical attributes to win...
Re: Boo Boo Andrade’s Opponent
I say since 2016 that possibly Sergiy Derevyanchenko will be MW king until 2020, he is in the top5 of the most complete in general skills, ring iq, speed and power. His performances in most bouts are really at A class level, beautiful to see such skills and performance, but this all will be put on the test vs Jacobs, and I'm personally rooting for Derevyanchenko.dagilechia wrote: ↑19 Oct 2018, 17:42 BJS arguably lost to Akavov so he is far from great as well.

Yes this gonna be a great and entertaining fight, very evenly matched i think. For me it's 51/49 Jacobs, can't wait for this fight
Re: Boo Boo Andrade’s Opponent
lol, tete didnt school aloyan at all, it was like a 7-5 fight
i actually had aloyan losing to some c+ level guy in his fight prior to tete, although it was very close, so he did a lot better then i thought vs a top guy like tete

Re: Boo Boo Andrade’s Opponent
The question is why people are hyping Andrade when this guy had a mediocre perfomance against someone like Jack Culcay , fought a guy named Alantez Fox and then had a one year lay off?? ![[icon_e_confused.gif]](./images/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif)
Re: Boo Boo Andrade’s Opponent
bjs wouldve been a great fight to get a clearer picture where andrades at . at times he shows some real impressive flashes but then he didnt look good against culc and really hasnt fought much opposition and pretty much no one relevant at mw. his best opponents have probably been vanes, culcay, and then who?
wasnt he supposed to fight one of the charlos but then withdrew himself?
