i can see wilder missing clumsly for a few rounds, but i think eventually that right hand lands with good extension and drops fury . once that happens, i think furys done for

fury used to show a pretty decent inside game before he got super negative. with uppercuts and body work. it might be in his best interest to get in close , inside that right hand, and tat times actually work rather then just hold. try to lean on wilder too.

Absolutely - and Fury will greatly outweigh Wilder too.

The problem there is that Wlad only punched in the 12th round; not sure why. Wilder will not.
I think I know why. He couldn't hit the taller dude with longer arms.

even so in boxing its ok to miss punches. at worst you even up your work rate. at best you get lucky.

Tyson Fury won't run. He won't bang recklessly either. He will box. It's not running, it's an art of hitting and not getting hit.

He will jab and hug, jab and hug. Likely trying to connect something as he hugs.
If the KD vs Cunningham meant anything, he’s likely to finish on the floor. Then there’s question about Deontay’s punch resistance, his stamina etc.
I must say I’m fairly intrigued by the possible outcome of the fight, bearing in mind it can turn out quite clumsy/ugly/boring.

Big Fury doesn't seem like the running type.

He did show how cautious and safety first he can be versus Klitschko.

I expect that Fury will make it a dog of a fight, wrestling, clinching, tying up, pushing down.

He'll have maybe close to a 35 lb weight advantage. Watch Fury lean all over Wilder trying to wear him down physically.

A guy like Fury, who hasn't had a legit bout in 3 years and has been seriously overweight, figures to be gasping for breath by the 6th round.

He'll be too tired to run by that time. A few rounds later, Fury will be too hurt to even move.

Fury's best chance is to keep distance close and smother Wilder. One of Wilder's best attributes is his ability to close distance very fast while throwing his 1-2. (see Stiverne 2 fight).

It will be interesting to see this fight, but it would have been a better fight several years ago considering Fury, to me, is not the same fighter and probably could've used another fight or two against better opponents in order to prepare for Wilder. IMO.

He'll box and spoil. Would be a bit daft getting in to a brawl with Wilder and Fury for all his faults is far from stupid.

Agreed he is not a stupid fighter, but I suspect Wilder will dispatch him mid rounds. IMHO.

Aye agree mate. Not sure when but you'd fancy Wilder to catch him eventually.

He doesn’t. He moves.
Yep. He moved backwards constantly in the Wlad fight. Some people equate that to running. I don't think it was running. But it was not really engaging either. It wasn't pretty to watch, that's for sure. I'm sure he will employ a similar strategy with Wilder.

I understand why he does it. But you can't blame people for being upset when he stinks up the joint after talking such a BIG game.

MAYBE for a round or two, but frankly I just don't see that happening. I see him tying up Wilder at every opportunity and trying to smother Wilder's punching power. IT's not the same Gypsy as three years ago.

I'm not surprised that people think Tyson Fury will box it out if he can but I am surprised at how many of you think that will be his primary game plan.
It's not a criticism at all I just thought the numbers would be a little lower, it's interesting,

Really; why did he connect in the 12th then? Fury is 6’7, not 6’9 which is bullshit.

Plus, Wlad has fought taller guys before. Wlad did not show up.
