Cavalcade of Champions Monthly Update

Post by HomicideHenry »

Jean Marc Mormeck is the #3 Cruiserweight in the world behind James Toney and Juan Carlos Gomez. Mormeck is running 5-1-0 (5) in his last six fights. Testing his mettle against heavyweights instead of cruiserweights, it wouldn't be surprising if Mormeck one day manages to get a shot at the heavyweight crown. Week #8 was the last time the Frenchman fought for the Cruiserweight championship, back when "Lights Out" was the title holder.

"Gypsy King" Tyson Fury has had a phenomenal comeback. Oftentimes barely hanging on to the bottom five of the top fifty heavyweights he's now ranked #22 in the world after an eleven fight win streak. His "one punch knockout" over Boston's Peter McNeeley remains the ONLY flawless victory the entire heavyweight field has had thus far this season. He's staying true to the game plan of development, rather than taking unnecessary risks. Set to fight Tom McNeeley in week #22 he's most likely to square off against Leon Spinks or Martin Rogan next.

Jack Johnson has had a bizarre career this season. In his first seven fights he won the WBC championship against Joe Louis only to lose it in his maiden defense to Rocky Marciano and then Johnson did "the impossible" defeating Drazen Durakovic by knockout in the fourth round. However, after that amazing victory, Johnson has had many set backs. A freak loss on cuts to Evander Holyfield (4 rounds) followed by a broken hand stoppage against Louis (3 rounds) forced Johnson to take a "break" from tough competition. He then went 4-0-0 against Carnera and Sharkey and Sullivan and Coetzee before facing Gene Tunney for the WBC championship which resulted in a highly entertaining draw. Johnson went 4-0-0 again over Norton and Johansson and Weaver and Dokes before entering the 2nd Prizefighter Tournament where he lost a three-round split decision to Johnny Nelson. Johnson is to rematch Nelson in week #22 and then challenge Ali in week #23 provided "The Greatest" agrees to a ten-round match.

Amanda Serrano cannot ever seem to catch a break. She's gone 2-3-1 in her last six. Christina Hammer seems to be her "mortal enemy" always blocking her from breaking through into the top ten and getting a shot at the Women's Championship. Serrano has gone 0-1-1 against Hammer. Currently ranked #11 in the world following a loss to the titantic Vonda Ward, she hopes to rack up four or so victories before challenging whomever the champion of the world will be at that time.

This just in:

Your so called "pugilsts" have faired non to well vs the GoldenBuzz galaxy of stars.

And when the chips are down.....you shirk, shrink and shiver when challenges are given.

It's a sad legacy, management is everything. Yes you have a flicker of talent in your stable....but they are represented by an organization that appears to place style above substance.

In order set this right, Mormeck should fight Schmeling post Haste, and Tyson Fury should face Ali. Perhaps we could dispatch Anaclet Wamba to disassemble the Galveston Giant.

Yep...that sounds like the perfect plan. However....we know that you will somehow invent reasons why this is less than a stellar option for your motley crue. Why? Because it spells defeat for your entire portfolio of prima donna pugilists.

GoldenBuzz Promotions: Without a shadow of a doubt, is the real deal, and The Undisputed Premier Pugilistic Conglomerate.

That is all.

You are attempting to cloud the waters, and promote disinformation, and ambiguity, whilst changing the terms we laid out in a fair and sensible manner. A lot of up and comers such as your fly by night organization would be grateful for the opportunity, and they would show such gratitude by sending us flowers.

The terms were made clear. There can be no other path to absolution, other than the one WE propose. You seem to be attempting to negotiate. We at GoldenBuzz are initiators, not negotiators. We have offered good and fair terms for this event in our initial set of opportunities that we stated.

I believe John Lennon said it best: "YES is the answer". You should follow his sage advice.

This is how business is done. Sign on the line, for next week.

That is all.

If you need further incentive, we will stipulate the following:

All proceeds will happily be forwarded to a favorite charity of our choosing.

 Then I guess that is a blatant "NO" and we will go after Gene Tunney or some other willing victim after we beat the crap out of Johnny Nelson then.

LET IT BE KNOWN....

Jack Johnson is interested in fights with the following men in weeks #23, #24, #25, #26, #27, #28, #29 since Ali & Schmeling both are scared witless of the "Galveston Giant" in ten-round battles:

James Jackson Jeffries

Gene Tunney (rematch)

Tommy Morrison

Jack Dempsey

George Foreman

Rocky Marciano (rematch)

James Toney

It doesn't matter the order of the matches, but Johnson wants to face these men before the season is to end--- Everyone but Tunney & Dempsey are matches we have YET to face this season. If these men refuse over the next seven weeks--- we'd like to have discussions with Ezzard Charles, Jersey Joe Walcott, Lennox Lewis, Sam Langford, Riddick Bowe, Joe Louis (rematch), and Vitali Klitschko.

He never has and he never will duck anyone. However he can only defeat one opponent per week.
