another big round for dorticos, as hes overwhelming masternak, especially with that long right hand. masternak retreating a lot, and all his punches are more like defensive 'get off me' punches then really meaningful scoring shots

masternak ocassionally lands in combo but his shots dont seem to have much on them and they arent bothering dort

at this rate, i think dort should get a stoppage

dort looking good, but i will say i think he neglects the jab. when ive seen him use it in fights its been effective, but he gets power shot hungry

the 6th was masternask most positive round. finally some offense that wasnt merely defensive, get off me type of stuff. though i still think dorticos won the roud.

dort does seem to be slowing a bit but i really struggle to give masternak that many rounds

personally i think dort should be way ahead, even a hes slowed hes done the better work. master has merely done better then master was doing before, but still not enough imo

i have dorticos well ahead, really cant see much for masternak even though he been ultra game and came into the fight more as it progressed

Master lost in a competetive fight. Again.

Masternak probaly landed slighty more punches, Dort landed cleaner and harder.

Master was not knocked down/out but Dorticos has power and it was visible. Masternak lacked it a little bit.

I would not underrate Dorticos after this fight. I think that Master still could beat the likes of Vlasov or Glowacki, not to mention Gevor, Tabiti, Fayfer.

But yeah Briedis is the favourite of this tournament and i expect him to beat the Cuban, maybe even knock him out.

Dorticos had a very good start, it seemed then, as if Masternak was no match for him, but in the second half of the fight Masternak became better, cause Dorticos had shown everything he could. The fight eventually appeared to be pretty close. Dorticos landed the biggest shots through the fight, but Masternak used the opponent's fast-starting and one-dimensional style to equal the bout a bit. Mateusz was gutsy, but he lacked good moments to pull out a victory.

The fight looked this way indeed. Dorticos established the edge early and later Masaternak reactivated.

thats what happened though, masternak really had very little notable success until the second half

it wasnt until around round 7 that you could see dort was slowing, and then masternak began to throw more combos and score some points with those.
