Prime Valuev vs Tyson Fury
Prime Valuev vs Tyson Fury
Who would win?
Re: Prime Valuev vs Tyson Fury
Tyson Fury by a shotout.
Re: Prime Valuev vs Tyson Fury
Because of their height, They both win this.
Re: Prime Valuev vs Tyson Fury
Not a matter of "reasoning"....this is purely intuitive or perhaps even metaphysical, and as you know.....it arrives on our planet from a "higher source".

Also don't forget that the higher KO% you have, the harder puncher you are, therefore Vitali is one of the hardest punchers of all time according to some people on the boxing forumsAmbling Alp II wrote: ↑26 Oct 2018, 13:12Height, along with reach, weight, and the number of title defenses (doesn't matter how are against stiffs) are the key factors in evaluating fighters.
People should not get off track and look at how good someone was.

I do make an effort to avoid 'set in stone' posts because you can never know for sure with these hypothetical fights.........
.......but am genuinely inclined to think that Fury is all wrong for Valuev and rather bad news.
TF big enough to take away most of Valuev's key advantages which NV traded on heavily; quicker hands, that more than decent movement for a huge man and (when motivated) a far higher work-rate that Valuev would have not appreciated.
Pretty sure the fight stinks as well; but Fury cruises to a comfortable victory with Valuev badly marked-up and Tyson doing much as he pleases by moving in-and-out of range but without going for the KO.

Re: Prime Valuev vs Tyson Fury
Does anyone see a single Valuev Advantage? I'm not sure I see a category where he is superior. Any thoughts?

Almost none whatsoever and it genuinely looks like a somewhat predictable, dull Fury shut-out.........Does anyone see a single Valuev Advantage? I'm not sure I see a category where he is superior. Any thoughts?
...........apart from one notable 'edge' and that is that Valuev was a disciplined pro who always made the best of what little he had. He grafted, prepared and was ready on fight night.
Meanwhile, Fury's ragged/fragile/manic temperament might have seen him do anything from totally abandon a sensible/sound gameplan mid-fight through to turning-up distracted by god knows what, unfit and deeply unhappy.
Fury's state-of-mind might - especially if he was on the downside - have allowed Valuev an opening of sorts.
