The pride the man has is unreal
except he didn't have enough pride to stay in a shape to defend his world title even once? so proud of being world champion he became a wreck to drugs and drink?
didn't have enough pride to stop himself becoming an obese mess?
didn't have enough pride to stay off the booze and coke?
apart from that yeah, proud proud guy, you can just see it.
I hav'nt got a clue , the Tyson in his last couple of comeback fights is shite , and should'nt be there except for the massive pay day ,,, But then again the TYSON prior to the Klitchko fight was',t the best either , WHO , KNOWS

Came back from it though didn’t he? Came out the other end, got himself fighting fit again and got himself in a big fight
Clearly you are the type of man who revels in other peoples downfalls and takes that as a tool to say someone isn’t proud or a good person, or if someone has a bad period that gives you a way of judging how you think they are as a person as a whole
Say what you want about the mans personal life, housewife behaviour that is anyway , but when he is in the ring he is a very very proud man

I'm not judging at all, everything i said w/r/t 'obese mess' 'booze and coke' and so on is simple fact. I'm just suggesting that your claim of his pride is (1) not exactly born out by the way he acted after becoming heavyweight champion of the world and (2) seems to be based on your imagination or wishful thinking:
when he is in the ring he is a very very proud man
how on earth do you know whether he's proud or otherwise, in the ring? good to know you've got those mind-reading skills, hope you put them to good work

it is simple fact he snorted gear, blew up, drank, but it’s judgemental for you to then use that as a way of judging him and saying he never has been, or can be proud
I’m part of the gypsy community, And while I’ve never met Tyson myself I know plenty who know him and his people, my wife’s people know plenty of his people as well, it’s well known his family are prideful people so it has nothing to do with mind reading skills that’s all a bit silly to talk like that isn’t it

I think Wlad would have beaten AJ if their rematch had taken place. He’d have watched the film from the first fight and decided it would be wise to hit him whilst he was seeing stars for two rounds. So, really, Wlad should have beaten both by now.
That’s the thing - Wlad “coulda” got loads of KOs throughout his career, but didn’t.
Gunshy, mentally weak, too gentle a soul -whatever you call it - Wlad never had that finisher’s spite.
If they’d had a rematch, Wlad woulda floored AJ, then - just when he had him a sitting-duck...?
He wouldn’t pull the trigger - again - he’d let AJ recover and win - again - and people would say, “Wlad coulda had him if he’d really gone for it” AGAIN !
Just his nature.
Exactly this, I mean, when he beat Pulev on points, that showed. He floored Pulev 3 times then started crying and refused to finish him. Just his nature
Yeah yeah - that's one fight - probably his best performance and as Jamab says Kubrat was a headless chicken that night.
The point still holds.

A big solid lump, who absorbed massive punches from Wilder and remained conscious and definitely didn’t look for the easy way out. Went down fighting against a murdeous puncher.
I think his tougness is also implied by how many top fighters including AJ have been keen to avoid him.
I take your point though. But by no means is he a fragile man.
Not sure AJ avoided him, I was under he impression Hearn got Ortiz over for a 3 fight deal in order to build a massive overhyped fight up with AJ. Ortiz just plodded around the ring looking disinterested and killed any chance of the huge PPV they were hoping for.
If anything else the SPEED looks like it is virtually all there--- he may need to be more precise/accurate but then again Wilder isn't the most accurate man either.

He's much slower than wilder.
IN WHAT SENSE????? I may give Wilder an edge in hand-speed (slightly) but Fury is overall the more faster guy between the two--- what beer goggles are you wearing?

Fury has better balance and movement, that's not speed Rufus.
Thats like saying Ali wasn't fast just because he had better balance and movement than everyone else.
It really isn't, Ali had athletic explosive speed as well as balance, that's the whole point, you're digging your heels in on a knucklehead judgement you made as usual/again
I can't wait til Fury slaps Wilder silly... and yet again... you will be crying and making excuses like you did after the Klitschko fight in 2015 you'll start running your mouth (yet again) that AJ is the best in the world, etc. etc. etc.

No it's nothing like that at all. It's people like you that confuse a fast fighter like malignaggi or Judah with being slick when they're not that sound defensively. It's OK, nobody expects much from you. Carry on.

Astounding that someone could watch the two and find fury to be the faster and more athletic guy. I missed reading nonsense like this.

I loved it when fury beat wlad. Wilder is going to flatten fury, if he doesn't Tyson will still be slower.
........ you're only embarassing yourself..... if Fury beats Wilder outboxing him, it'll prove that he is not only faster, but more elusive and slick and athletic than Wilder.... pure and simple.... Wilder only seems athletic--- Wilder only seems fast--- Wilder only seems to be quick--- because he's always fought slow, plodding, one-dimensional heavyweights who were almost always 10 spots or more below him overall in the ratings.
You're right, bothering to converse with you about a sport you don't understand is embarrassing. Like when Marquez proved he was faster and more athletic than Manny by outboxing him.
foot speed i can see maybe for fury, not hand speed. there hasnt really been a showing from wilder where he moves at a pace ive never seen fury move. but that could be choice of styles too...fury maybe boxes purposefully to move around as quick as he can, wilder is looking more to measure a big shot
foot speed imo seems more impact by stuff like balance and general moving skill then hand speed is by punching skill
I really cannot gauge what Fury we will see vs Wilder. I only know that it is an intriguing matchup. I do think that Fury will be looking to hurt Wilder early to take the starch out of the right hand. That could mean beddy bye time for the big galoot.
I honestly think that Fury has the power to hurt and cumulatively stop Wilder though. Too much focus on Fury’s chin. We know that if he gets caught clean he is likely done. But, what if Fury clips Wilder? Will he have the chops to finish him, or will he end up like Ortiz?
