The heavyweight division is continuing to heat up with the announcement of these fights this afternoon.
Sure, Ortiz - Kaufman is a bit of a mismatch but at least the Cuban is staying busy. As for Breazeale, it will be interesting to see who he gets matched up with. It will likely just be a tune-up fight though as he's Wilder's mandatory.

It really is a terrible match up. Not worthy of being on any PPV. But we are stuck with these crappy undercards

I'm not that put off by Ortiz vs Kaufman. The way I see it is they could have done worse for an opponent. We might get about four rounds out of it. And, if the proposed Joe Joyce - Gerald Washington fight is signed for the undercard as well as Hurd's fight, it won't be that bad of an undercard.

kauffman is like maybe c level, whereras ortiz is just a cut below the best

ortiz is one of these guys ppl say everyones ducking him. maybe sometimes its got something to do with his own approach to his career. hes 40 in a few months but fought sh!t for the most part. last two opponents will be raz cojanu and travis kauffman.

failed peds twice, repeatedly left promoters even as they got him good fights, etc. maybe its not just other guys.

ortiz on the wilder uncercard seems like it wouldve been considered for a while. go ahead, knockout kauffman and bang your chest away king kong
