Hatton looking good at new weight.

Post by jamesmcdonnell »

I must say, Ricky has looked in fantastic nick in the photos I've seen of his recently, looking very very strong and thickset compared to the Tszyu fight, when he looked fit, but a little drawn

We all know that lifting weights doesn't equate to much neccesarily in boxing, but he's been upping the weights he can lift. I don't know if the figures are impressive, but he's been bench pressing 120kgm, and shoulder pressing 105kg, which seems pretty good for someone weighing only 147 lbs.

He'll beat the bum collazo easily but I really really hope he gets a severe hiding. I will buy the PPV and watch it hoping that Hatton gets killed. Please do it Collazo!! You bum!

At least I'm honest.

Very good P4P strength if true - are there pics - Pics Ive seen of Ricky lifting weights dont usually look very impressive (as in hes usually a long way below these sort of figures). Reported gym figures are usually bogus.

Looking good!

I read a recent article actually where he said he felt very good at this new weight and very strong. Mentioned something bout not wanting to be a big light welter, but a big welter.

I find that quite tasteless. Your favours are well-known but this sentiment is uncalled-for

He looks very strong there but he's surely still some way away from making weight.

Hopefully, if we ignore him long enough, he'll go away.

Looking at these pics, I couldn't imagine Hatton going up to 154 in the future. Putting another seven pounds of muscle on that frame can't be a good idea. He's not the tallest, and extra bulk would only reduce his mobility, and his workrate would suffer as well 'd imagine. He'd be a sitting duck against the likes of Karmazin, DLH etc.

I think Lirva, in his defence, has used the wrong word 'killed' to express his wish. I don't think he means literally but like as an expression. However, bad choice of words I am sure he will admit in this context.

Also, I have personally seen Collazo three times and he is not a bum, but only just the right side of being one. Hatton willl beat him without a doubt.

Personally, I hope Hatton looks shite and get's beat but it's unlikely unless the beer catches up with him. That will happen one day but not this day.Hatton in five but really who cares.

Pictures of the hitman in Boston yesterday, from his website. Page two shows him in training over there, and you wouldn't want to spill his pint!

He looks very strong there. I'm predicting Hatton by mid-rounds KO.

Thanks b-chat, it certainly was an expression. I don't like Hatton one iota but I don't want to see him killed. KO'd brutally, yes. Killed, no.

Some great pictures! Thanks! :TU:

Hatton is looking in great shape and is a very strong man for his weight. Bloody annoying when someone is a genetic freak!

Wouldn't it be great if the internet wasn't so anonymous. It amuses me at the thought of Lirva shitting his pants confronted by Hatton.

Killed? You fornicating idiot. Ok he has addressed that but still...

Hatton reminds me of Duran in those photos. Hands of Stone moved up to welter and hit his peak.
