I think that we can all agree that the most exciting thing on this show tonight is Chisoras shiny beard

Hughie showed almost no effort. When he tried to box, he failed to avoid a lot of Pulev's punches and didn't provide his own much. When he tried to attack, it was kinda desperate and ungainly. Overall Hughie was looking like a fighter with no ideas, who was just trying to survive.

Mmmm , well i'm glad i was awake early and did,nt get up especielly to watch it , you can't win these fights , with a single jab , overhand right ,, blind Freddie could of seen that right hand coming , and the fitness for 24 was,nt what you would expect at high level ,,

Theres still time for Hughie , but what he needs is to take a year off and go train with someone else , because if he can't throw a combination at this stage , he needs to turn the training around ,

2 losses at 24 is fkal. By time he’s 30.. he could win a portion of the world title IMO.

Hughie just doesn't have the basic skills to be world class.
Would have done wonders if he'd stayed amateur for another 4-5 years.

He should work a lot for that. For the moment he has faced 2 top guys and looked lackluster both times.

furys clumsy and uncomfortable leading offensively . just not his way to press the action

He has found his level and doesn't possess the conditioning and punch power to mix it at world level .

What's the route back for them? Needs a decent win.

True. And defence-wise he was just far from the ideal. He is better to be a counter-punching mover, than the aggressor, but still he fails to utilize his style effectively.

His second biggest fight, leading to his by far biggest payday and he was unfit. If he didn't want it bad enough to be fit, how is lesser fights for lesser paydays going to change that?
Nah, Huggie isn't cut out for much more than domestic level, despite his young age.

Considering how the fight was going, Pulev was really negative on the inside, using his left elbow up high to protect himself and force breaks, when he could've taken a risk and gone to work instead. Can't blame him I suppose — he got the win.

Well i was wrong, fair play to Pulev, it wasn't pretty, but he done his job

Hughie started well but the cut just completely threw him

He's young he'll come again

One reason why the cut didn't get worse is because Pulev never landed much

Hughie has just gone down on points against one of the best heavyweights in the world in the guys back yard. It's no disgrace and he can come back better for it. He took a lot more risks in this fight than against Parker (who Pulev may be better than) so he's still learning and improving.
