Dereck Chisora and Dillian Whyte are set to reignite their in-ring rivalry on December 22 at London's O2.
Confirmation of the fight has been long-awaited and now, with just under two months until the event, tickets to the all-British boxing bout expected to sell out fast.
Mainstream attention was brought to the pair's rivalry following an eventful pre-fight press conference which saw Chisora lift up a table before launching it in the direction of his opponent.
Two and a half year on from their fight at the Manchester Arena, where Whyte record a narrow victory by split decision, Chisora and his team finally have their wish of a rematch.
In the two and half years since, Whyte has gone on to win both the WBC Silver Heavyweight and the WBO International Heavyweight titles while thirty-five year-old Chisora - now under the management of David Haye and Hayemaker Promotions - has been forced to rebuild his career.
Previously, Chisora claimed Whyte had turned down a rematch offer in excess of £1m. Back in July, however, Chisora defeated Frenchman Carlos Takam for the vacant WBA International Heavyweight title.

They go on general sale at 12pm on Saturday, November 3.
Travel
If you're looking into the possibility of travelling down from Manchester for the fight, then there are a number of ways to get there.
Regular National Express coaches are available from Manchester Coach Station on Chorlton Street to London Victoria Coach Station.
Alternatively, you can save money on train tickets by booking in advance or even check into the possibility of flying to Heathrow, Southend or Southampton.
Anybody wishing to stay over on either the Friday or Saturday night can find deals on sites like hotels.com or Expedia.

"This is going to be the donkey's final destination," said Whyte. "This will be Chisora's last fight, the donkey's last ride. I think that he needs to really have a good think about taking this fight, because he's going to be heading home after it looking like he's been run over by a truck.
"I believe that I'll knock him out in devastating fashion this time. Last time was my first 12 rounder and I was a little bit inexperienced, but this time I'll know exactly what to do. He's at the end of the road.

Chisora sad. "For the next seven weeks he will have sleepless nights knowing what he has finally signed up to. His last couple of opponents didn't come for battle, they didn't even put heat on Dillian. On December 22, I'm coming to burn him up!
"I was cheated in our first fight by the judges, everyone knows that I was the true victor. This time I have a score to settle, Dillian won't be hearing the final bell to be saved by the judges.
I will be stepping in the ring a different fighter. I have everything to prove and it all to lose. 'Del Boy' is no more, 'WAR' Chisora doesn't cut corners, he doesn't skip sessions, he doesn't look for the easy option. I'm in the gym every day pushing my body to its limit. I'm in complete control of my destiny, December 22 will be WAR."
David Haye, CEO of Hayemaker Boxing and manager of Chisora, said: "Without question there is a different fire in the eyes of 'WAR' Chisora. For two years he has wanted to settle the score with Dillian, and finally he has the opportunity to do this.
"He has embraced everything we have thrown at him. Derek has huge untapped potential. The fact he has reached out to me, someone historically he had such animosity with for help demonstrates the lengths he is willing to go in order to realise the best version of himself.
"Dillian is going to be stepping in the ring with a completely different Derek 'WAR' Chisora. A fresh focus, a new outlook and an incredible desire to capture the world heavyweight title. This will be WAR."
Promoter Eddie Hearn said: "The first fight was one of the best heavyweight fights we have ever seen and I believe the rematch can eclipse even that.
"Both fighters enter this fight in their best form ever, with everything on the line. We are guaranteed an absolute war on December 22 at The O2 Arena and I cannot wait!"

Why is the Manchester paper bigging this up so much when they’ve got a bigger fight at their own arena the same night? They’re even advising people to fly to Southampton and Southend to get there! Bizarre.

MEN don't sponsor the Manchester Arena anymore. Haven't for years.
It's funny because the MEN was probably the first to post the news. Maybe because the first fight took place their? I don't know. strange though.

Chisora had too many off rounds against Whyte. Hw dominated a round, then spent the next round aainst the ropes. I wasn't all that impressed with the Takam performance either. He lost all the rounds IMO.. It was a good KO though. End of the day, he won.
If he can find a similar punch or maybe try getting Whyte tired, because Whyte is known for getting tired, then he might be able to use similar tactics and KO Whyte.

Great fight first time round, it could have gone either way. I do hope that it's as good as their first scrap but I fear that since then, only one fighter has improved and it ain't Chisora.
Very disappointing that it runs in direct competition with the Manchester bill. Was this the only date available or was it done deliberately?

Personally for me this is completely irrelevant because I know what show I'll be watching. BT should block sales of the Sky PPV on their platform the same way Sky do to BT customers. A snidey bitch move by Sky and Hearn and I hope it bombs. They can ram this guff up their cock. DelBoy, despite getting a good win last time out looked awful up til the KO. Showed massive balls to hang in but seemed on the verge of being stopped more than once himself.
