Post by Kit »

Just got a real education from the bbc boxing correspondent.

I managed to only score 7..

Bet no one can get them all without cheating :)

I got 9/18 but really it should've been 9/12, the only genuine ones I missed were Johnny Hill, Walter McGowan and Pat Clinton

As much as I rate Limond, McAllister etc even they know

My mistake I am so naive that I didn’t even think to recognise the great Scottish WBU world champions of yester year.

15/18 but I read the guy Hill on here and submitted him even though (shamefully) I didn't know who he was

So 14 I suppose. If I hadn't read this first I wouldn't have counted the WBU mob and would've felt a right mong

I got 11. Clicked on the link before reading the comments and was struggling. Put limond in as a guess and when it came up WBU I then got McAllister et al from there.

I was actually at the Murphy Elcock fight years ago

Loved a bit of Scott Dixon as well :TU: Underrated fighter! Would've been good to see how he got on under a proper promotional banner and not the crap he had to deal with! Obviously he didn't help himself at times and that's a familiar story with us Scots

Before my time, but to my understanding Howard Davis Jr was supposed to be a superstar.

He was considered the best of the legendary 1976 US Olympic team and won the Val Barker trophy for those Olympics.

I got to seven and thought 'fornicate it' I typed in 'Ronnie The Shark Clark' and was amazed when it told me I was incorrect so I sacked it off and I typed in youtube in my browser because I wanted to listen to The Wurzels. :OhYes:

Before my time too, was de-bunking the earlier daft statement about no Scottish fighter never beating a good American fighter
