Demetrius Andrade vs Jermall Charlo - who wins this fight ?

Post by apollo creed »

Both fighters are unproven at the mw division with no notable wins, yet they are ranked pretty high as top 160 pounders. I'd like to see this match. :box:

ya, and then youll just say the winner beat an unproven guy and so still needs to prove himself to fight ggg, jacobs, canelo, etc

Nope! The winner would be a solid player at mw. This winner fghting GGG, Canelo or Jacobs would be the natural way.

Both fighters are proven, and you need to start grasping the concept that fighters' wins in other divisions don't vanish when they move to a new division. It's not like you forget how to box when you gain 6 pounds.

Hey I just want to see both fighting a live body at mw, period. Both are hyped and I want to see if the hype is real.

Yeah, they both are unproven, both are prospects in my eyes. Probably Andrade can outbox Charlo, for the moment he seems to be a slicker and smarter competitor.

This is the right word for both. :TU:

Also they don't like each other, so it would be a grudge fight. :box:

He cant say that. Technically they’re like the same weight. It’s like two of the best light middleweights fighting as MW’s

No, Andrade was a prospect in like 2011. He's been unquestionably world class since 2013. Jermall has been unquestionably world class since 2015. Do neither of you even know how to correctly use the term prospect?

It might be very close. I think they are on the same level, Jacobs too.

I think Jermall has shown a little more promise. I'd favor Jermall is they were fighting. I don't think it'd be a easy W or another just to be clear. Probably a 60/40 type fight.

Yeah, I was rolling my eyes pretty hard 4-5 years ago when the Andrade hype wouldn't quit and his fans claimed that he was the most avoided fighter in the world. I'll judge a fighter by who he steps in the ring with, not who he claims is ducking him. No one can convince me that Dario Pucheta and Alantez Fox were legit the very best opponents Andrade could sign, and that every single person above them was ducking. I highly doubt that Trout would have ducked Andrade, after fighting both Charlos, Hurd, Lara, Alvarez, and Cotto. There's no way Alvarez would have ducked Andrade after fighting Mosley, Trout, Mayweather, Angulo, Lara, Kirkland, Cotto, and Golovkin twice.
