I think Wilder needs to come in and go for the points win. He can win this on points for me. Fury is going to fight not to be KO'd. The worse thing Wilder can do is sit around waiting for one shot. If he just keeps his jab hand extended somewhat and pops out the jab all night, Fury is just going to move around and pose and threaten but not commit. It's all about how wilder approaches it. He can make himself look terrible in this fight if he comes in with no discipline. Some fights you just have to take the boring win and move on. He will get the KO against Joshua. I don't think he'll have to go looking for it too much in that one. If he goes looking for it here he will be on the receiving end of some shots and some clowning to go with it.

Agree with this, Wilder is dangerous early and Fury needs to establish his groove. I think he will, and win by late stoppage

Fury is pretty crap mate. Pathetic fight vs Wlad, another crap fighter who Lewis would have done quicker than he did his brother Vitali.

This isn't a good era. We have a robotic Joshua holding belts, a stinker in Fury and a wild amateur in Wilder. All would have lost to Vitali even.

There are some interesting fights out there making it competitive but the top level is very poor. 3 big guys with lots of weaknesses

Actually there's a metaphysical explanation of an unpcoming Fury's victory over Wilder.

Look at the magic of the numbers. Mike Tyson was 37-0-0, 33 KOs before facing Douglas and he was knocked out. Golovkin had 37-0-0, 33 KOs before facing Canelo and he was taken even both 0s by Canelo. Foreman had 40-0 before facing Ali and he was KOed. Now Wilder has the same 40-0 before facing Fury.

Wilder is in a big trouble. Mysterious force of numbers is against him. Like the curse of 37-0-0, 33 KOs spread from Mike Tyson to his middleweight analogue, the curse of 40-0 will spread from the one murderous HW puncher to his modern analogue. Bronze Bomber is destined to lose and get his 3rd place again. This time after Joshua and, of course, The Gypsy King!

Agree this era is crap but Vlad definitely wasn't and I don't think Fury is either although he isn't good on they eye. Joshua is robotic but a very big unit that is hard to budge, and Wilder is a big puncher but is boxing technique is crap at top level.

I like this era, a lot. There's the big three, all of whom have different strengths and weaknesses and the fights between them are all pick ems. It's fascinating. Plus, the supporting pack of Whyte, Chizza, Pulev, PEDetkin, Parker, Miller etc is well balanced and exciting.

Yes the quality is a bit lacking but... finally...it's interesting! After the boredom of the Klitschko years and the utter dross of the mid 2000s (Chagaev, Ibragimov, Valuev, Liakovich, Briggs), this is the best heavyweight division we've had in a long time.
