Groves by a mile. Brooks resume is much poorer than it should be given his ability. His best win is Porter, Groves has beat DeGale, Murray & Eubank who are all better wins imo.

No, I don't agree. Porter is the best win on either's resume. Murray and Eubank are absolutely no competition in terms of what Porter has done before and since. Porter/DeGale can be argued somewhat, though, but I'm inclined to think that Porter is overall a superior fighter to DeGale. Plus, DeGale and Groves were both pretty green at the time. I think they only had 20 fights between the two of them when they met up.

I like Porter but he's not close to being anywhere near the best in his division, and never was. DeGale blows hot & cold but he's clearly a better fighter than Porter. As is Eubank.

I had Porter beating Thurman, so it's arguable that he was #1 at WW at one point. Plus, DeGale's division has been weak while Porter's in a stronger division.

Eubank is not a better fighter than Porter. There is no argument there. Porter has never been outclassed as bad as Eubank was against Groves.

As did many others. It was a fight that could've gone either way.

I agree in terms of world level Porter is the standout win on either resume, but one win isn't enough and I think Groves has beaten on average better fighters than Brook.

I'm doing a lot of hating on Brook but don't mean to, he's one of my favourite fighters to watch just disappointed he could've done more.

Kell Brook has had a frustrating career, a great win over Porter should have seen him push on and challenge the best in the division had he followed Selby, Frampton and Degale and signed with Haymon.

Instead he chose to stay in the UK and fight crap opposition while waiting for a Khan fight, when that didn't happen he threw himself to the wolves against GGG and hasn't quite been the same since.

Groves has fought the best in his division and although he didn't win them all, he bounced back from his defeats very well.

I'm curious to see what Groves chooses to do next as he still jas alot to offer, but has made more than enough money to retire.

Kell Brook has never scored a clear-cut decisive victory over any universally regarded top-ten world-rated fighter.

Even the boxing pundits from both the Box-Nation and Sky Sports UK TV networks thought he’d deserved to lose his bout against Shawn Porter.

There’s an obvious reason why Eddie Hearn has decided to protect Brook based on the calibre of the opponent he last shared the ring with and also the next guy he’s due to face.

And let’s face it, the so-called “Special One” doesn’t need to continuously engage in warm-up/stay busy bouts against second-tier opposition.

Therefore, the answer to the question posed by this thread title is ludicrously easy to answer!

Definitely Groves.

Although the Murray and Eubank are nowhere near as good wins as Porter

No argument. Brook’s got a close decision against Porter. That’s it.

Groves has a close decision against Degale, a landslide decision against Eubank, and a solid KO over Chudinov.
