It’s not really relevant what he INTENDS to do though is it?
Well, being on the fence about buying the fight, I guess from my point of view it is encouraging at the least to see Tony in cracking good shape- I was a little concerned he would take the loss and the cash and retire. Frpm the looks of him though, he appears to be taking it seriously. I'm still not convinced I will buy the fight.
Ah I see.
I have always assumed that he believes he can win the fight as it only makes sense from a prestige point of view. If it was just one last pension pot fight there are easier nights and likely wins at Heavy for more money.

I don't see this being the trouncing most do. Anthony is there or thereabouts with any of the cruisers who took part in the WBSS and I'd be surprised if Usyk has the pop to get him out of there. He's go more ring IQ than Gassiev so don't let that 120-108 ish match fool you. Also consider the infamous British referee in play and typical British home judging, and I see it coming down to no more than a three rounds on the cards.

Bellew looking really good, as trim as I've seen him since he was an actual cruiser.
He isn't coming in to cash a paycheck. :box:
Yeah, Bellew isn't going out there just to get beaten up and take his money, but he will go there not to box too, he will try to demonstrate his powah. If I remember correctly, he said it himself, like he was admitting, he was a worse boxer and would try to land the decisive punch. On the one hand, looking for a one big shot is often a bad thing, but in this case what else can Bellew do?

Yeah, massive fair play to Bellew, who has done brilliantly. I'll still be cheering for Usyk though. The guy looks a special talent, and Bellew comes across as a bit of a chief far too often for me to really warm to him.

As long as Bellew gets home safe to his wife and kids that's the most important thing.

When the fight was first announced, a lot of us, myself included, wondered if Tony would make weight. Going by the photos- I don't see it being a problem.
To be fair to Bellew, I haven't seen him look this good in years.
