Bellew was ahead by 1, 3 and tied after 6.

Sounds about right to me ? :maybe:

TB started well, caused some surprises and it took Usyk a while to work him out.
Don't see why anyone is embarrassing or biased.

Pleased for Tony - a terrific career, over-achiever and he went out on his shield against a HOF lock.
Enjoy your retirement :salut:

He would have won the remainder rounds anyway.
And maybe got a draw.

Nice 1-2. Sky and froch should hand their heads in shame.

Credit to bellew though.

Presumably the punch was so good that there was nothing Terry O'Connor could do to save him. Am I right or am I right?

Great finish by Usyk in the end. I wasn't that impressed with his overall boxing performance though. It seemed like his superior gas tank as much as anything saw him through to the end, as much as anything.

I struggle to see Usyk causing Joshua much problems on the back of that performance.

Think Bellow went into his shell after he relized the POWEEER was missing , reasonable performance against a good boxer like Usyk ,, but ducking the top cruisers , fighting a Flores and a way past it crippled Haye , just does'nt cut it in prep for a guy like Usyk , still he went out on his shield now i hope he just retires , enjoys life , spends his money and becomes King of Liverpool

Usyk calculated Bellew after unexpectedly tough start, that's the difference in class. Looking forward for Usyk moving up. He's a great boxer, he can do it, I believe.

And...

Bellew loses by KO for the first time in a long time since his 175 pound days against Adonis Stevenson...

That being said I believe it will be a tremendous mistake for Usyk to go to heavyweight and automatically challenge for titles or fight legitimate top ten contenders...

BECAUSE DESPITE BELLEW'S WBC TOP FIVE RATING, Tony only beat the ghost of David Haye and it's not an accurate spot in the division, it's more accurate to say Bellew is a top 25 heavyweight & by that I mean the bottom half of that 25...

Anthony Joshua wants Usyk, and I hope he says "NO", because it's safe matchmaking for the 6'6" 250 pound IBF/WBA/WBO champion.

He was an average of 1.33 rounds up after 6 - what's the problem ?

Stunning KO from Usyk his class told in the end, I still had Bellew a round up at the stoppage but had Usyk sweeping the last 3 and you sensed Bellew was unravelling, what an effort from Bellew though, he was excellent in the first couple of rounds, tagged Usyk with that counter right hand time and again and found a home for it early, Usyk was wary of it all night and it played a part in his cautious start no doubt, a lot of people doubted whether Bellew would even win a round but he was dangerous and landed a few big rights, never really got going with the left hook but Usyk was too clever to stay in range too long

Usyk started to find the range with the jab and countered Bellew with the left hand in the middle rounds but still wasn't going all in, he knew Bellew was ready to pounce with the right hand counter, in that last 8th though Usyk took him apart, the finish was exceptional, jab then the left hand , sweet as you like, massive kudos to Tony Bellew

Oleksandr Usyk is done at Cruiserweight, there's no one left, next Operation Joshua :bag: :bag:

Tony's been caught up in a boxing sideshow for a couple of years, but it paid well...
