If you’ve seen Usyk fight. He usually takes about 3-4 rounds to get going.
He lost the first 3 rounds against Hunter too. Then took over.

I wasn't really scoring, but had it 2-2 after for then Usyk went up through the levels.jamamb wrote: ↑10 Nov 2018, 19:46it seems like most people had usyk coming into control and winning the last 3 or so rounds at least before the stoppage. but the commentary i watched was just so awful, i get some bias, but froch crossed the line into being totally unprofessional, not giving usyk a round till the 7th
this wasnt too different from usyk vs briedis and hunter. he starts slow but then inevtiably takes over. fair play to bellew though, he boxed well but the class told in the end

So what were you agreeing with RKY for?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑10 Nov 2018, 19:48 If you’ve seen Usyk fight. He usually takes about 3-4 rounds to get going.

He said Bellew didn’t win rounds 2 & 3 which he clearly did.

People saying Bellew 'won the early rounds' know as much about boxing as people who say McGregor 'won' the first 4 against Mayweather.
Re: Round-by-Round: Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tony Bellew - 10 November 2018
I could see Usyk boxing Wilder stupid for round after round.
Wilder could win at any point of course, but I'm looking fwd to Usyk the heavyweight.

ya thats just his way i guess, i thought he was down 3-1 to briedis after 4 too. but fair play to bellew, he looked like a skilled genuine world class cruiser and he did make usyk comfortable having to leadRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑10 Nov 2018, 19:48 If you’ve seen Usyk fight. Woeful. Applying the 4 scoring criteria Bellew won 0 rounds.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑10 Nov 2018, 19:47 Russian judge: 67-67

I'd hate to fight Bellew. If you beat him you'd have to put up with his over the top emotional style mashing afterwards.
Poor old Usyk took a proper mashing.
Good fight though. Bellew did better than expected but looked gassed after 4.
Nice shot to end it.

I had 2 & 3 clearly Bellew, 1 & 4 I gave to Bellew too but could be some bias there, 6 & 7 clearly Usyk and I gave him 5 too.
So I had 67-66 Bellew but could understand anyone having 1 & 4 even or even to Usyk.
In reality, once Usyk worked him out there was only going to be one winner.

I had Usyk ahead at stoppage. I had even first round, Bellew rounds 2,3 thats it. All Usyk after that.Covfefe wrote: ↑10 Nov 2018, 19:49So what were you agreeing with RKY for?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑10 Nov 2018, 19:48 If you’ve seen Usyk fight. He usually takes about 3-4 rounds to get going.

Re: Round-by-Round: Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tony Bellew - 10 November 2018
Bellew won the rounds mostly because Usyk didn’t do much. Kinda like how Mayweather didn’t do much in the opening few rounds against mcGregor.
Re: Round-by-Round: Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tony Bellew - 10 November 2018
That's not really true.leejonesjnr wrote: ↑10 Nov 2018, 19:50 People saying Bellew 'won the early rounds' know as much about boxing as people who say McGregor 'won' the first 4 against Mayweather.
Not a lot happened, the underdogs were a bit better than expected and nicked rounds.
Fighters as good as that aren't bothered to lose a few early rounds and often do.

Usyk would have won the remainder rounds TBh. Might have gotten a SD win. Lol

Same as you, mate.
I was watching with the sound off to save me throwing up/throwing something at the TV & when Froch's scorecard flashed up I jumped clean off the sofa.
pudendum.
I actually thought that Bellew did well & Usyk was jumpier than usual through his usual slow start but I can't see how anyone saw the fight I did from round five onwards & thought "Yeah, Bellew's still well in this".
I am very feel, BTW

Can't see how Usyk was down at the time of the stopoage. Bellew was level at best. Can you give even rounds?
