ENJOY!!
Adams making it look easy. Smiling while kicking peoples asses. I think he's got this. Khytrov looked like the favorite going in so Adams is the favorite now.
you called it bruh, i watched some of mosleys stuff from b4 the tourney and still not impressed with him at all, i think he really stepped his game up here
Well its not like he had a hard bracket. I think if Mosley Jr was in Adams bracket with Ievgen, Thompson & Walker he would have lost to any of those guys. So more like Mosley got a nice bracket more then he upped his game. He's going to get schooled to all hell vs Adams this weekend.
Mosley Jr. did have advantages such as having Naazim as his trainer who trained his dad, he's in his prime at age 27, and also he should have won in Australia vs. David Toussaint. If he would have got that decision, he would have been one of the favorites for sure. Adams upped his game much more than Mosley Jr. He was off for 3 years and he lost by TKO to John Thompson in 2015 who is also in the tournament. How could anyone predict that Adams would be in the Contender finals? Adams did not fight Thompson in this tournament. He beat Tyrone Brunson, Ievgen Khytrov, and Eric Walker. That is impressive. Those were among the best on the show, but Mosley Jr. is going to have a significant height and reach advantage over Adams.ReggieDiggs wrote: ↑04 Nov 2018, 17:36Well its not like he had a hard bracket. Hopefully Adams gets a real fight after winning Contender. Its kinda a shame he was on the sidelines for so long as skilled as he is.
I think his bracket was a bigger advantage than Naazim in his corner.RScarf1 wrote: ↑04 Nov 2018, 19:07Mosley Jr. did have advantages such as having Naazim as his trainer who trained his dad, he's in his prime at age 27, and also he should have won in Australia vs. David Toussaint.ReggieDiggs wrote: ↑04 Nov 2018, 17:36Well its not like he had a hard bracket. I knew he was talented from that ESPN tournament run he had, but I didn't think 3yrs or w/e off was gonna do him any favors. I thought Ievgen was the favorite to win by a mile going into this tournament. How could anyone predict that Adams would be in the Contender finals?
I didn't say he did. I said he was in Adams' bracket.Adams did not fight Thompson in this tournament.
Height & reach is gonna have nothing to do with this fight. Adams is too slick & fast. Mosley Jr is too sloppy with poor defense. If there are betting odds for this fight I suspect they are wide for Adams. We'll see soon either way.but Mosley Jr. is going to have a significant height and reach advantage over Adams.
His record should read 13-2 but boxrec has not recorded the wins over Valdivia and Moore. The loss to Mosley Jr does not show up on their records either.
